I don't think so, otherwise you would get tokens in the shop and that never happens...
I've had this bug as well, but I got the 1/1 pirate that spawns from the other rush pirate. Also, when I bought it, and played it, it attacked a minion in bobs tavern, did 1 damage and died and disappeared .
Seems likely to be an issue with Mr Bigglesworth stealing and then selling it, I remember that happening to Kripp where he got a golden minion in the shop, and I see Bigglesworth in your game.
