Hahaha! This deck was SO FUN! Did it on First try, even though Kel'Thuzad was the LAST CARD on my deck! I also had a freaking Mana Tide Totem on Board which i couldnt get rid off..... AND STILL WON 2 turns after Malcheezar came in.
Amazing and fun deck! If you cant make it work, you re just playing it wrong
The only GvG card I used from this deck was FlameCannnon. That Helped out a lot. For the other cards, I'd make sure you get a bit more taunt on the board in case you're not clearing it. Mana Wyrm's are going to be your MVP's because of the Wish cards, they instantly get +1 each turn, and with your deck filled with spells, they get a lot of damage. For the rest of your minions you'll get those from using Wish.
Violet Teacher, Mana Addict, Demented Frostcaller would be good choices if you had them since they synergize with the Wish cards and the rest of spells in your deck. But really, anything should work if you have the rest of the deck. I had all the cards from this decklist in my deck but I didn't draw, nor did I need any GvG cards except FlameCannon
Play soulfire/fist, all I end up against is Mechleaper hunter. Play flinger/ww to counter that and all I get is gorillabot/warper. Play auchenai/circle to counter that and all I get is mill druid and janky decks that I would slay with soulfire/fist.
Try the target dummy and bolster combo. It generally loses to the mechcleaper hunter unless they mess up. It generally can win against a lot of other decks that are going around. This morning I was playing standard play mode on my secondary account trying to level up some of the characters. I had my main account just repeat queue'ing brawl and before I knew It i had over 30 wins. Probably won 70% of those matches. I didn't even realize I had played that many matches until the pop-up said I had already earned the max 100g from wins today.
But yes, in general, a lot of the TB is rock/paper/scissors. If you're looking for quick wins, just pick your deck that can generally do well against other combos, then just concede if it looks like you're getting hard countered. Best of luck!
I've opened over 110+ WOTG packs and haven't had a single old god other than C'thun. I wasn't salty until I created a 2nd account and sure enough, from one of the 3 free packs....
Sigh
I crafted Yogg on the first day the expansion was launched. Later I was a bit angry because I could have spent that 1600 dust for a better legendary. Then... my first (and last, till now) legendary in the 30th WoG pack is... Yogg, what else?
Sounds like my luck. That's why I generally refuse to craft legendaries. I'm really trying to resist crafting a few right now. I have the dust, but I feel like once I craft it's going to be in my next pack.
To be honest I wouldn't dust anything until you know what you're doing. And until you're really sure on what kind of deck you want to build.
Also, keep in mind "control warrior" is also called the wallet warrior. It requires a lot of dust and as a new player you'd likely find it easier to build a different style of deck while still being competitive. Just my two cents.

Rule of thumb for any legendary: if you dont need the dust right away, dont disenchant.
+1, though this goes for any card really. Even if you're never going to use it. Never know when the nerf hammer comes out and you could get a full dust refund instead of just the normal rate.
bah, I call it bullshit, until you record 10 consecutive games, post them on youtube without any editing... and then we can see... otherwise it is just pure salt.
This.
I think in general people find it easier to blame external factors than face the reality that they could be an issue. RNG plays a factor, but over a period of games it should balance out. If you consistently have crap starting hands then you really need to look at your curve rather than blame the RNG.
The RNG God's were smiling down on me. I got a Dreadscale, summoned a Healing Totem and then was able to play a Gahz'rilla for a perfect combo. Unfortunately my opponent didn't stick around for me to get Gahzrilla's attack through the roof.
And if the RNG Gods weren't sending enough of their good graces my way, my first-win pack from tavern brawl gave me a legendary when I just had one from 3-4 packs ago in that set.
I'm sure I'll be paying for all of this over the next week though

+1 First try. Made the following subs due to lacking some cards:
-2 Dreadstead
-1 Annoy-o-tron
+1 Enhance-o Mechano
+2 C'thun Chosen

Thanks, First try. Nice cheap deck.
I did run into the issue of not having enough cards. I didn't really feel duplicate was of much value. I'd consider replacing with some draw cards.

Thanks, 2nd try. Made it easy with doomsayer for initial clear and then taunted molten giant on turn 4 or 6

Very easy, 2nd try. Glad I found a deck that didn't use the patched abom/explosive sheep interaction

Great deck. Ended up with 50/50 deathlord. Very easy and beat on first try after struggling with my own decks.
