I agree with everyone that this card is way better than Reincarnate. That said though, it is a lot less versatile, since reincarnate can also be used to:
Heal minions back to full.
Remove debuffs like Peacekeeper/Humility.
Remove buffs from minions like vanCleef, undertaker or something taunted up by Argus.
Allow charge minions to attack twice.
Activate non-deathrattle death effects like Kel'Thuzad resurrecting himself.
Although I agree Feign Death is superior, it doesn't seem unreasonable that Blizzard budgeted it the same, considering its decreased flexibility.
What planet are you on lol? I cannot recall a SINGLE situation where reincarnate was used in any of the bullet points you made lol. This hunter card is basically Baron Rivendare for 2 mana. Simple as that. Plus it's instant and doesn't rely on a minion surviving.
Huh. People have mentioned the use of this card to devastate control opponents by pulling a minion like Alexstrasza out of their hand, getting rid of important Battlecry effects. But they haven't mentioned this use against a certain card.
What's Shaman's very least card to play against in the entire game right now? I would submit that it is Cabal Shadow Priest.
On turn 5 when you're pretty sure your Priest opponent is about to play their CSP they've been saving up (which they ALWAYS, ALWAYS draw for some reason), play this and pull it out of their hand. (Hopefully the same RNG that makes them always draw it will also make Ancestor's Call select it.) Now their precious Cabal Shadow Priest is just a Yeti, and your crucial totem or Harvest Golem or whatever isn't getting stolen.
The only reason I ran Acolyte of Pain instead of Divine Favor is because it's a guaranteed card draw whereas Favor is based on your opponent. PLUS you get a minion on the field and if used with SOJ can get at least a trade with it.
So basically this deck revolves around heavy removal, both single target with humility/aldor + kodo combo + tinkmaster and AOE with equality, consecration and wild pyromancer. Buffing early minions with SOJ and then finishing with a strong late game with tirion and yesra.
Early game is covered by SOJ buffs of 2-3 drops to gain favourable trades into the mid game. The low mana curve usually ensures a solid early game with the hero power compensating a poor draw. Try to save big AOE removals for rush decks and single target for late game legendaries/iron barks etc.
Thoughts on current deck and how to improve would be great :)
I was actually thinking they could do a tournament mode much like that of FIFA ultimate team where by you have certain entry requirements/restrictions on your deck and certain decks are not eligible e.g. an all basic card tournament or no cards above 5 mana tournament etc. It could cost a minimal fee to enter and you'd play like 5 straight knock out games for a prize. Thoughts?
I see two options here. You either drop Auchenai Soulpriest and Northshire Cleric, or you drop shadow form as the first two don't synergise with the last. Also in my personal opinion shadowform just isn't that good in the current meta, it's got a 3 mana set up cost, then 2 mana to cast, that's intially 5 mana for 2 damage, which is terrible. After that you do admittedly have a very good hero power but at what cost? So I'd drop out the Auchenai and maybe put in a cabal shadowpriest + velen or yesera (velen synergises well with shadowform late game)
I've tried running a similar deck and found the mana curve too steep + cabal is just useless 70-80% of the time. Our removal is also weak with holy fire being too expensive. Also shadow form takes too long to ramp up, 3 mana to set up, 2 to use, so that is 5 mana for 2 damage, which is by any standards, terrible. If you happen to get velen out and alive for more than a turn AND already have shadowform up, that is a decent amount of damage, but like I said it usually takes far too much set up to get to that point. Give it a go though and post results.

Well no s*** they aren't going to announce it after! What kind of tweet is that???
So they are going to announce a release date BEFORE the game's released?? Not after?! Wow.

With GvG coming up and even more deathrattles than before, will Mass Dispel be viable in competitive play or is it STILL too slow? Thoughts?

^ is right. You know how many of the top players run 1 of each card? 0. For a reason!
