I don't see myself using it, but it's a cool card that has a lot of potential for interesting synergies. Auto-proccing Enrage is pretty sweet.

Now to find a way to get Angry Chicken involved...

"Right now" might very-well be the key phrase in your post. As with all of these cards...we haven't seen the whole picture yet.

Pretty sure the answer is "no", because they don't inherently have Taunt. This will look for those cards you've played that have Taunt directly stapled to them.

If I'm wrong, though, then wow that'll be nuts.

Edit: Now that I think about it again, Transform should be a Yes, Adapt should be a No.

She'll gain stacks while inside your deck: it doesn't specify that it has to be in your hand.

She doesn't need to be in your hand to benefit: she's tallying from beginning to end. If she's still in your deck she's safe from being discarded, and later on you'll draw a 10/6 or whatever.

posted a message on Help - I'm trapped in the mulligan D:

Well that's obviously out of the question at this point...which means I just took an Arena loss for no reason, didn't I?

Between this and getting destroyed by the same exact Golden Priest twice in one day (the guy has various Legends, and literally every card he had was Golden), Hearthstone has not been my friend today.

Of all the moments it could have done this, it picked during Arena. Thanks Hearthstone, you prick.

posted a message on Help - I'm trapped in the mulligan D:

So I've entered an Arena match against this Hunter, but I seem to have become semi-frozen. Initially it took forever for my hand to even appear, then after picking a card to toss I'm not trapped waiting for a new one to arrive. I don't think I'm "truly" frozen, because the animations and music are still playing, I can access the other menus. However, it's been stuck like this for several minutes and I don't know what to do :(

If this was in regular Play mode, I'd concede or Alt-F4 to program...but this is Arena, and I don't want to throw a game away because HS decided to give me the finger and not load properly. What do I do?

Perhaps I'm reading into it wrong, but isn't it possible that this could keep a running tally even if it's not on the field or in your hand? You could draw it on turn 12 or whatever and find it's a 10/6 for 5 mana, to throw out random numbers. That's not that bad: she'd continue to rise in strength, without worry that you'll discard her by mistake 'cause she's safe in the deck.

She'll be like a Giant, in that regard; those guys take into account the long-term play. I think some people are looking at it too narrowly, like she has to survive multiple rounds of Russian Roulette discards in your hand to net any boost to her Attack. She's not trying to be the Warlock equivalent of Bolvar Fordragon.

posted a message on Pity Timer Bug Confirmed - To Be Fixed this Week
    Quote from GhostTrickx1 >>
    Quote from RygaUK >>

dunno why people are opening packs insted of saving them for the pack changes with the new expansion but im glad they did i spose so blizzard found out about the pity time bug before thousands of packs got busted open on launch day

The pack changes don't matter for everyone. People with barely any legendaries have absolutely no reason to wait when the odds of getting a duplicate is already astronomically low.
Yep. If we've opened at least one pack for every available expansion ("Legend in the first 10 packs!") and have a minimal number of Legendaries ("no dupe Legends!"), this update doesn't actually do much for us. It will obviously apply for KFT and moving forward it'll be greatly appreciated, but in the here-and-now I'm going to continue opening packs to acquire cards I could use today.
It might seem like tempting-fate to look Lady Luck in the eyes and dare her to give me a duplicate Legendary, but given that I only have, like, four of them total across all expansions past-and-present, I'm comfortable rolling those dice. It's not like I can get a dupe Malorne lol

posted a message on Mike Donais Talks Frozen Throne - Undead Tribe, Hero Powers, Build-a-Beast as a Spell?

I feel like including a whole bunch of "undead" in this expansion will only dissuade them from adding the Undead tribe in the future. When/if that ever happens, it'll be the greatest retcon in the history of the game: there are a crazy amount of minions that would fall under that moniker already, and the number will continue to increase as time passes.

If they're not going to do it now - and this was a golden opportunity to pull that trigger - I just cannot see them doing it later. As more Undead candidates are added to the game, Blizzard will only be increasing the workload required to retroactively change everything, as well as the potential for unexpected interactions of the OP variety.

posted a message on The Death Knights Rise - A History of Hearthstone's Newest Heroes

Ahh Hardhome: one of if-not the best sequence in all of Game of Thrones. The wights breaking through the wall and storming over the cliff, the Night King raising his arms as the newly slain arose to take their place in his army, the episode ending in total silence...goddamn it was so good.

    Nice article, by-the-by lol
