     Not at all, it's not what I meant by starting this thread. I just feel like the blade flurry nerf was way too strong. It's not like i didn't try to make the card work, i did, and it's really clunky. 
    I wish blizzard could revise the nerf, because 4 mana just made the card almost impossible to work with, considering the destroy your weapon drawback etc...
    I could say the same with molten giant, compare it to arcane giant, rogue or mage can consistently play it for 0 mana for no effort whatsoever. Some of the nerfs they made are stupid.  
    But i guess they're too busy giving stupid cards to the rogue class like the quest, when they could have done something combo related etc. I mean, the quest is not that bad i guess, works with a lot of the rogue tools, but the reward is so stupid, i hope they'll change it.

    I was trying yet another deck list with blade flurry on rogue to see if i could find anything where it felt right to use in standard. I'm in between rank 10 and 8 at the moment, and all I can find since rank 10 are tryhards on ladder so every win with an off meta deck feels good :p 

    So yeah, pooped on an aggro murlocadin. And blade flurry was actually great in that game ! So double win for me.

    @tonys202 Yeah sure, it certainly was. I don't mind loosing the face damage, but 4 mana is the real issue here imo. As i explained in my first post, 4 mana for a card that requires so much setup, it's just a dead card sitting in your hand 90% of the games. Tempo wise it's really bad, if it was 2 mana at least you can combo it with other cards early on and maybe it could find some plays. Combo is THE keyword of the rogue class and they're not doing anything about it. 

    Maybe they could add a combo thing to the card, like, combo : deal 1 more damage, or combo : weapon doesn't brake etc, you get the idea

    (speaking of combo, why blizzard gave us such a random quest when they could have work with combos ? make a "trigger 6 combo cards" quest or something was too difficult ?)

    Well i'd love to give up the quest to get a better blade flurry back :p 

    But yeah, now the card is almost 100% of the time worse than fan of knives and it's sad.

    Yeah of course, i don't want it to be what it used to be, i'd just love to see its mana cost decrease a bit. 

    I don't like cards falling into oblivion either, and i feel like a mana cost adjustment could be the solution. 

    And yes, as somebody pointed out earlier, nothing in the last 3 sets of cards would have make that card op. So maybe in the future it will make a come back but in the meantime, it's not that great and i doubt we can find an archetype where it's decent. Especially in standard. As i said it's not that bad in wild thanks to sharpsword but in standard it's.... yeah.

    A year ago blade flurry and other cards got nerfed but i'm here to discuss blade flurry especially.  

    I'm still trying to play it in wild and standard. Usually one copy per deck. I tried it in a lot of different archetype and now i have one conclusion. The card is not reaaally great. 

    So basically, the card will deal 1 damage to all minion with an un-upgraded weapon for 4 mana. Sure it's flexible and stuff but tempo wise it's too expensive. 4 mana is actually a big deal. What I learned is, you cannot use it in an emergency situation now, it's a complete tempo/card disadvantage. Almost 100% of the time i'd rather use fan of knives with thalnos. It's better card advantage for less effort (in standard at least, in wild it's another story). 

    In wild it's a bit better, because of sharpsword oil, but still, not that great. I'm using it for the sake of using it really. It was good in a game or two but had to waste a prep because of the over-mana-cost of the card. 

    So wouldn't it be nice to get a little mana buff on blade flurry ? I feel like the alpha blade flurry was great (see the attachment below): 2 mana, destroy weapon and deal damage to all enemy minions. It's the same card we have now but it's 2 mana less. What do you think ?

     Maybe if envenom weapon worked with blade flurry it could also be a great buff, but it does not work together for the moment. 

    Any ideas ? Maybe some of you have a deck where you managed to make it work ? I tried everything, spiteful smith, weapon buff, it does not work, it's just too expensive. If it was 2 mana maybe you could play it with the smith, like 5 mana for the smith, you can trigger it with a petal, blade flurry for 2, so a great board clear for 8 mana and a minion on board but still, 3 CARDS. 

    So, waiting for your ideas, opinions etc.

    Blizzard, make blade flurry great again. (i'm not english so excuse me for possible bad grammar)

    I'm having fun with it too, won several games with it. Got shaman once, my hand was something like : al'akir, doomhammer, fire elemental, rockbiter and some other cards, no need to say I won :p

    Sooo, the idea behind the card was to make a card like Lock and Load or Embrace the Shadow for rogue. It works the same way: you cast the spell, you have a flashy animation like Embrace the Shadow, and when you play a card, you gain the attack first, and then the card is played, it acts like a battlecry. 

    What you could achieve with such a card: turn 6 two cards combo, 5 attack board clear with Blade Flurry. Turn 3, 4 attack dagger with Deadly Poison. Turn 6, this + tomb pillager, 5 attack dagger and 5/4 on board. Turn 7 leeroy + this = 12 damage combo.

    It makes Blade Flurry playable again as a really great board clear, with a much easier set up. Might be a little too op though.

    What's going on with casual ? Trying to play a stupid Yogg hunter deck for fun, and all I saw was zoolock, miracle rogue, midrange shaman, tempo warrior etc... I'm not mad but... I don't understand. Why don't you play in ranked mode ? I don't get it. All those decks I faced were tier 1 decks, what's the point of playing them in casu ?

    What about Nefarian ? It could be good, especially with Cho'gall if you're lucky enough to steal great spells. Just an idea tho.
