Chinchillas posted a message on New Shaman Card Reveal - Haunting VisionPosted in: NewsIs it even really a discount? You're paying three mana to REACH for a specific card. why not just RUN the card? This has versatility but the fact that shaman has so many BAD spells (see Witch's Cauldron ) will mean that you're more than likely going to discover dead cards..

Magikurp posted a message on New Shaman Card Reveal - Haunting VisionPosted in: NewsThis entire plan relies on either having a high priority 6 mana 4/4 survive for one turn or a turn 9 combo that does essentially nothing.

Blue6erry posted a message on New Shaman Card Reveal - Haunting VisionPosted in: NewsI agree. Shaman spells aren't good enough to warrant this 3 mana waste of a deck slot (just play a better card), but it is really good with Hagatha. I like the idea of a more balanced Glyph, but it is too fair in a class that doesn't have a medley of amazing spells.

lite0 posted a message on New Shaman Card Reveal - Haunting VisionPosted in: NewsI don't think any current kind of decks will play this. Shudderwock won't because the list is fairly tight and it's not consistent. It doesn't have the versatility and synergy of primordial glyph. Far Sight is much better because it cycles and discounts your own deck and the discount sticks. Shaman often need to pump out a lot of mana efficiently because of overload and stuff and this card is too balanced for that.
This card is a big buff to Hagatha though. Any time you pick this card up from her it's good because you can fish for a spell you really need.

Shwakk posted a message on New Hunter Card Reveal - Revenge of the WildPosted in: NewsThat does look fun. I'm almost afraid for Charged Devilsaur, though. It could finally get ret-conned to just have rush if it gets too out of hand, which is a shame.

I really like the deck, it is close to what I imagined; however, why not add two 'Bring it On!'? Whenever I played Control Warrior I always got rushed down and needed the burst heal. I understand that we have 'Ancient Shieldbearer', but I think having 'Bring it On!' would help to consistently stay alive against aggro. If we were to add this I think that another 'Sleep with the Fishes' should be added to make the deck more board clearing centric. Maybe to insert these cards into the deck we can remove 'Grimestreet Informant', 'Blood Razer', and 'Stonehill Defender'. I don't think that 'Grimestreet Informant' will add that much more value as it is not that consistent. 'Blood Razer' is a debatable card, but I think that the only weapon you need is 'Fiery War Axe'. 'Stonehill Defender' is also debatable, since there are two C'thun related taunt minions, but I think that it would be better cut.
