Sadly I don't think I'm going to make it.  Already getting bored of the deck.  I'm pretty sure I -could- make it.  Deck is strong enough.  I'm good enough.  I Just don't enjoy the play style.  I haven't really enjoyed a deck since Galakrond Priest.

35 loss vs. quest warrior.  Going 2nd again.

36 win vs. quest warlock.

37 win vs. quest rogue

38 win vs quest warrior going first!

39 win vs. quest pally

40 win vs face hunter

After 3 days 29-11 made it to Gold on day 3.  72.5% win%

41 win vs. Quest WArrior going 1st

42 loss vs. deathrattle DH.

43 win vs. quest shaman

44 win vs. quest warrior going 1st.

45 beat a quest priest

46 win vs. evolve shaman  (might be the first game that Lord Barov actually made my deck better)

28 Win vs. Aggro Priest

29 Win vs. Quest Mage.  

30 Win vs. Quest Warrior.  I went 2nd but he drew like crap.

After 30 games 21-9 70%   10% of the way to legend!

31 win vs. Quest WArlock

32 win vs. Quest WArlock

33 win vs ?
34 Loss vs. Quest Priest.  Priest just owns me.

Sorry to keep spamming this thread.  I was hoping to keep editing one post with my notes, but it seems to not let me.

19 - Beat libram pally.  He never mounted much of a defense.

20 Beat Quest WArlock.  Just crushed him.  I had a 5/5 weapon on turn 5.  

AFter 20 games 13-7.  Up to 65%.  Not bad, but currently playing in Silver.  Started my climb from the very bottom.

 21 Lost to Rez Priest.  I'm not sure I can beat that deck.

I think better than filler.  Ignore the honorable kill stuff.  A 3/2 with stealth for 2 is pretty good for aggro.

Keleseth wasn't broken?  I don't think I ever beat a Rogue that played him on 2.

Mercenaries just feels like a solved game to me.  Like a more complex version of tic-tac-toe, with a little rng thrown in.  But, I have to imagine at the top ranks most games are decided before they begin.

When I used to play dragon decks I figured I needed 7 dragons in order to make sure I could activate my dragon synergies.

Does big demon want to run at least 7 demons that cost 5 or more?  Maybe with DH's draw you only need like 4 or 5 though.  My Priest decks didn't draw well.

NOw if there was just a spell that drew your lowest cost minion.  Maybe 2 or 3 cost.

I'm guessing you cant cast this unless there is a damaged minion.  I think that would kill the card.

An obviously great card.  Just needs a deck that is good to be in.

I probably shouldn't be talking too much about standard seeing as I haven't played it in 3-4 months now.   But, do you think these frost spells will defend against:

Charging Pirates
Ignites
Bleeds
Fatigue damage that hits you
OTK demon hunter
Face damage from Face Hunter

I could see maybe working a bit vs. Druid.  But, even then is your big reward of a board full of 3/4s going to outmatch his board of buffed taunts?  I think you might be able to stall, but Druid seems like they will still beat you in the end with more impactful cards.

Libram pally?  Maybe?  Is this still being played?

My point is, there don't seem to be a lot of minion centric boards for a frost strategy to combat.  And the reward seems to be too little too late to keep up with all the better ways to otk someone.  It could be I'm just ignoring a lot of minion centric board decks though.  Like I said, I haven't played standard in a long while now.

I'm not sure this can be rescued.  I was thinking if if cost 4 with lower stats you could maybe curve into a massive turn 4 that would be game winning.  But, then again this is legendary, so good luck having it in your hand often enough on turn 4 to be a winning strategy.  It needs to be costlier so that that is can be tutored by that 3/3.  So, can't lower it's cost.

And on turn 7 is this really going to win games?  that is, is it going to be worth building a deck around?  I don't think so.  Not unless you have a bunch of frost spells that you already wanted in your deck because they were awesome and this was just extra.  I don't see that being the case.

It's a shame.  If the game was tuned to end on turn 10, this might have a chance.  But, unless people start taking longer to poop, that isn't going to happen.
