Ideally, it would hit at least 5 around 65% of the time so you can kill a Cobalt Scalebane that was played on curve. Really powerful card for control mage though. The AOE introduced in this expansion is on a rather high power level.
I feel like the most viable combo is just to put this in a spell heavy Druid deck with Arcane Giant and Arcane Tyrants. Definitely looks like a fun card for wacky combo decks though.
Not sure why anyone would think that this card is bad. Obviously you're not running it in a fatigue priest style of deck. It's like saying old Leper Gnome was bad because it didn't give you any value. If this was 2014 when priest lacked win conditions outside of attrition, then sure, I would agree with you. But between Shadowreaper and Temporus priests have actual win conditions nowadays that let them take advantage of this insanely powerful board clear.
Honestly, just reading this as 9 mana restore 10 health and deal 5 damage while equipping a 5/2 weapon with lifesteal is pretty good. Of course it also upgrades your hero power as well, which is a nice bonus.
I would personally wait until all of the new cards from KFT to be revealed before crafting anything. If you really want to craft one now though, what class do you like to play the most?
The quality of commons have been pretty good this expansion. As for this card, I can see it being good in a Midrange Dragon Paladin deck as we still have the 2/3 that summons 2 1/1s if you're holding a dragon in standard.

I think Ice Fishing will create a nice defensive murloc package for control shaman.

Ehh, Patches hard counters this. And I would rather just use Leper Gnome at that point.

I think that this card is pretty good. Steed and Tarim are most likely better though.

You play the 1 mana 2/1 that damage both heroes, and then you follow it up by healing your self and then playing this! Clearly OP. Kappa

Hmm, so it's a 4 mana body that casts a 2 mana spell at the end of each turn. Definitely playable in my opinion.

Very interesting. You only need to draw 1 deathrattle consistently for this card to be good.

This is honestly my favorite card to be revealed from KFT.

I'm exited for Priest personally. I love the trailer art for DK Anduin (It could look different like DK Jaina though).
