1. They have nonsensical alphanumeric names (4TQ89XZ or PGL01JX). 2. Their deck is almost always a collection of basic cards. They will use the highest value basic cards of each mana cost -- such as Chillwind Yeti, Boulderfist Ogre, etc. 3. Their deck will always contain the most useful basic spells of that class (Frostbolt, Power Word: Shield, Execute) 4. They hover over cards in your hand, making them light up red. No human player can do that. 5. They never rope, but always take about the same amount of time each turn (roughly 10-15 seconds, it's slightly faster than a human). When they attack with a minion, there is a 2 second delay for each attack.
I think the bots are there to grind the basic game, get some cards, and then sell to buyers on illegal third-party sites.
That doesn't make sense to reveal the cards after the expansion. How is Blizzard supposed to get us hyped for the expansion if we don't get to see the cards? Just their promise that it's gonna be good? No that would not fly over well.
Where did I say it would make sense to "reveal the cards after the expansion"?
Also, streamers are not Blizzard. Blizzard shows us all the cards before an expansion is released, so why do the streamers feel the need to further hype anything, while calling this a "review"? It's laughable.
No screaming, no loud music or very active music, explain plays, interact at least a little with chat, play interesting decks. Don't be too slow and don't take too many pauses.
And yes, screaming and antics CAN be fun, but it can also grow really old fast.
I'd say for me I like hsdogdog and savjz. Though savjz has those sudden screams out of the blue that are horrifying if you're not paying full attention to the stream.
Savjz's sudden squeals are the exact reason I stopped watching his (otherwise excellent) stream a long time ago.
Every time I tune in to Kibler's stream he's on (or about to be on) one of his long (piss?) breaks. So I'm watching his chair for a bit then tune in elsewhere. Take note future streamers - get that prostate checked early! j/k
So nowadays every streamer and their mother just HAS to bore us with their card review streams that go on for hours, often making bad predictions to boot.
But wouldn't card reviews make a lot more sense AFTER an expansion is live (and lived in)?
With a little help from my friends (extra kudos to my bandmate for his amazing vocals!) I’ve been able to finally produce this song I started writing sometime circa April 2016. I kind of stopped working on it shortly after I came up with the initial idea, and then had a really hard time catching up on all the expansions that Blizz had released between 2016 and now. But in the end I feel like it all came together, somehow. Barely. Just in time before August, lol.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the song&video and share it around! Leave any feedback here, and feel free to like and share. :)
Looks like you missed the part where his deck is actually a classic 2-of freeze mage, with Reno tacked on for good RNG. :D
Not really, he is playing an "Exodia" (Actually, Infinite Damage) Mage, with Reno on top. Classic Freeze Mage would be the Alexstrazsa Burn deck, not the one he is playing. And Reno is not that big a deal, I tried it in the Classic Freeze Mage a lot when the card came out because Freeze Mages draw their entire deck really fast so it can justify running it even with duplicates.
The "Exodia" is similar, it also runs a ton of card draw, even more than the Freeze one, so Reno is even more likely to work. Funnily enough, from the cards that were seen, he is running card for card the exact list of "Exodia" I run in Wild, except that I use the Mage Quest instead of the Reno.
Ah ok, I didn't realize Reno was a thing in this deck. Even my HSDT was confused when he was played, marking the card as "created". :D
So what? He had 5 cards left in the deck, it's not like he was at half his deck and topdecked the one card he needed, he had drawn 83% of his deck already, his chances to draw anything he needs are really high. You are lucky he didn't draw Antonidas instead of Reno, that would kill you instead of making him survive...

Just played against a spell hunter and odd rogue, who had nothing but standard cards. FeelsWildMan.

Never in my 4 years of playing this game have I seen anything like this. Check out his topdeck at turn 11:

BLUL. I was so baffled by this I made several misplays eventually leading up to my defeat.
