This seems very good. Heal with immediate board impact, and not going to break you with only 1 overload.

Pamiggio posted a message on New Priest Legendary Card Revealed - Seek GuidancePosted in: NewsI think for less skilled players this quest will be a trap. It already takes a long time, so you have to commit to completing it asap, which means it encourages you to play cards not because of their effect but because of their cost, even if it's an awkward play. Which means playing at a disadvantage, unless everything aligns and you keep having the perfect card for the current board with the perfect cost.
Plus, there are many counters, like most of the time you won't be able to play Xyrella the turn you get it, which gives your opponent a turn to try to Mutanus her. Against aggro you'll often have to chose whether to remove stuff efficiently or keep your quest going, unless you're lucky and get the perfect removal all the time, getting to turn 10 or most likely more is hard. Mage will be a pain in the bass because of the secrets, having to test everything or risk your x mana quest card will bog the quest even more especially since you can't have too many cheap spells in a deck for this quest. Just a few examples. And we'll see in some compilation some freak examples like paladins OMY on turn 1.

PetiteMouche posted a message on How are Paladins still being left in their current state?Posted in: General DiscussionGuys I'm not in the nerf train, but paladin has card draw, just please stop pretending they don't.
Knight of Anointment / Hand of A'dal : best tempo card draw in the game.
Northwatch Commander : only in secret archetype but also an insane tempo card draw.
And then Sword of the Fallen obviously who draws+plays 2 cards.
That's 10 cards that you can draw while generating tempo, it doesn't get any better for aggro decks. Saying paladin has no card draw is like saying priest has no healing.

Scorpyon posted a message on Scorpyon's Rank #1 Natural ShamanPosted in: Scorpyon's Rank #1 Natural ShamanOk, have watched this match through.
Unfortunately this looks like one of those matches where he drew the nuts and you didn't. Annoyingly, it happens. In terms of what you could have done differently - the in-game choices you made were mostly what I think I would have done.
I think I would have possibly considered throwing out the Coin + Notetaker on turn 3 to then get a second Chain Lightning ready. It would also have given him a board presence to think about too.
I also might have reconsidered the mulligan. Landslide is little use if you don't have the Overload kicker - you want to see Novice Zapper in your hand to keep it.
With 20-20 hindsight, I probably would have chucked back the Notetaker as you're not looking to play him on the first couple of turns, so he is a fairly dead card unless you throw him out for tempo (which might have evened things up for you after you played the Dagger and took the shield off the Righteous Protector).Aside from that though, looks like a difficult one there. Hope you get some better matches going forward!

The requirement to have a minion on the board before this dies makes this terrible. Opponent can trade strategically to make sure this effect never works.

This deck is insane! I am currently 9-2 (82%) Gold 3, maybe not the highest rank but nonetheless the power level of this deck is definitely there.
