I don't think any card should be nerfed. However, I only want to know one thing? What is it about the internet that makes people want to announce that they are leaving a game? You play or you don't. The reasons you have for leaving may be completely valid, but what makes you think the rest of us care? If you have already made up your mind, just leave. If you are still waffling, start a discussion. But, don't be a troll. And people think emoting are bad manners...
So true, you deserve an upvote here. Also I notice from other games that 80% of the people who are posting this kind of threads ended up returning to the game after a while.
Whenever I play control/combo deck with lots of cards in hand, I just can't resist the urge to BM.
Me: Attack with all minions first, spam spells randomly, leaving his face at 1-4 hp, "That was a mistake" pretending I just ran out of spells. Keep spamming to make it look real.
4/4 sword is a bit underwhelming, 4/5 is way too OPed. I think the best solution is putting it as a 5/4, threatening enough to force the opponent to deal with immediately but not too tough to get removed.
Due to the daily quest system, players who started the game late is under extreme disadvantages. Your gf is 5 months behind those who started since release. In that period of time, they have collected more than 40 x 30 x 5 = 6000 gold just from daily quest alone, not counting bonus gold from 3 wins and arena. That's more than 60 packs, hence it's difficult to compete against those players. If I were to start the game right now, I wouldn't mind dropping some bucks buying Naxx/40 packs to catch up rather than going through all that painful grind.
Leeroy doesn't need a nerf IMO. After Naxx, there are just many things that get in the way (notably Sludge) preventing him from hitting face comfortably. Also Leeroy is not being played as often as before. Currently, only Miracle Rouges use Leeroy as the main win condition, Hunters can sub Leeroy with any charger/beast and Handlocks can still do really well with just Rag/Alex in place of Leeroy + PO combo.
He applied his card value algorithm in all his work but there's no proof whether it is correct. In fact I think it's wrong considering most of his overvalued card are low cost + underused cards.
I agree that beginners and F2P players will always playa lot of Hunter and Zoo because they're cheap, but Miracle? You need AT LEAST 2 legendaries, 2 epics, and 6 rares for that...
As far as the topic at hand, I don't think it's reasonable to argue that Control Warrior has no good matchups. It beats other late-game decks and hyper aggressive decks at the cost of being able to be tempo-ed out in the midgame.
Actually you only need Leeroy + 2 Preps + 2 Auctioneer as core. The rest are substituable. After around 2 months of playing, most should be able to build the Miracle deck, the problem is not anyone can play it effectively.
Have made it midway into rank 3... was hoping for some win streaks to carry me through to legend for the first time ever, but no such luck. I'm generally moving up, but it's a real grind. May have to give up on the goal as the reality seems to be that there's no reliable way to push through against such strong competition. I was half tempted to grab one of the coaches out there to help me push through, but I don't think even that would guarantee much.
Here are some tips for you.
1. Take your time to think and make the best possible move out of the situation. At high level competition, every decision is important, even the mulligan phase matters a lot. You don't want to get hasty and regret about the decision later on. Think about what could possibly be in your opponent hand, what he could do next turn/a few turns ahead and what could your do to respond to that.
2. Start tracking your progress, if you see a popular deck frequently at a specific time, start playing the counter deck to get a better win rate. Last season, I noticed that there were suddenly many Ramp Druids in the ladder so I just switched to Miracle Rogue and reached Legend in one morning session. Also try to find out which time of the day your win rate is the highest and play during that time because chances are the opponents are easier to handle.
3. Take a 30 min break every 3 losses. Tilt is a major problem that prevents players from achieving Legend status. When you lost a few games in a row, you tend to make hasty decisions to quickly end the game to get back the lost stars which often turns out to be sub-optimal. Though some people admit they never tilt, it's just possible shrug off that feeling of irritation once you lost a series of games, and it will somewhat affect your performance. It's just better to take a break then start afresh rather than risk going tilt mode and lose another series of games.
It's stuff like this that makes me glad I play a control warrior. If more people did, this would change the meta to something else people would find OP and then again and again.... there is always going to be a deck people find to be the most powerful. It is generally the deck that counters the previous "most powerful" deck. Until someone builds a counter.
The Warrior deck is very expensive. That's the reason why although it's very strong in the meta, it sees very little play. Starters always jump between Zoo - Hunter - Miracle Rogue because those are the cheapest decks.
Looks very constructed like. I never get FoN whenever I pick Savage Roar so I always have to use it as removal.
The deck is quite balanced, enough early threats, good card draw. There are so many tokens in your deck so it's good to push for early damage, also favourable trades from Dark Iron Dwarf. If you don't meet crazy insane decks, this deck can get 10-11 wins for sure.
I only crafted 2 x Argent Commander and 1x Azure Drake when I first started. I had to play with crappy decks with many basic commons for 2 months before I have enough cards for Zoo. It was painful at the time but now looking back, it was extremely fun :D.

First option: $50 for 40 packs = 4000G, that's 80G/$1.
Second option: $20 for Naxx ( 4 wings) + $30 for 22 packs = 700 x 4 + 22 x100 = 5000G, that's 100G/$1.
Clearly the second option is much better.

Cairne for tempo, mid-range decks like Druid, Deathrattle Shaman/Priest, Tempo Rogue/Warrior.
Sylvanas for most control decks: Handlock, Control Warrior and Control Priest.
From my experience, Sylvanas usually doesn't contribute much but when she does, she swings the game pretty hard.

Opponent: "Sorry about that" / "Well played"
Me: "Thank you" then cast Hell fire.

All the Hunters will switch Zoo/Token Druid again. Just like what happened after the UtH nerf.

I used him before together with Rag. Now his spot becomes Cairne. Just too situational and inconsistent.
