I don't know if anyone remembers, but Nourish at 5 mana, wasn't even played all the time or all that often in classic hearthstone through several expansions. Sure, it had some use, but other things were more important at the time, and other cards were considered better inclusions. So I was very surprised when it was nerfed seemingly out of the blue, and couldn't understand why. Well, if I remember correctly, it was nerfed around the time the quest that gives both choose one's came out, so I guess it made some sense. But that wasn't Nourish's fault, that was the quest's fault. So yeah...it should be back to 5 mana, honestly. Wild Growth should be back at 2 mana honestly, as well. It's just a joke at 3 (maybe they want it to be a joke, but still, it's like...not good at all anymore)
And yeah equality should be back at 2 mana or 3 at the worst, 4 mana is just...super bad and killed the card. Why, Blizz, can't you guys just use your brains a little bit, please?
Even IF the coin is at its best now than ever before...that just means it's finally approaching balance. It's ALWAYS been worse for the entirety of Hearthstone...yes, Rogues have always had ability that it's actually better for them, but that's ONE class compared to 8 (9, now). Even IF the coin is somehow BETTER than going first and having a mana and tempo/potential advantage for 9 turns, that would be completely okay in my eyes, seeing as it has been worse for 5+ years now, so what if it's now slightly better, for one or two classes, or whatever? 100% balanced still, imo.
I'm not up and up on the meta or anything, but can't you do both highlander and galakrond rogue? Galakrond only requires what, 5-7 cards to work well? Or even less? So it could easily be, a highlander galakrond rogue, right? Or am I wrong?
Honestly? All of them (except whatever ones they made where the card otherwise, truly broke the game
And who gets to decide which cards "broke the game"? Objectively, it's down to Blizzard to make that decision. And they already did - hence the cards that have already been nerfed. They don't nerf cards for the fun of it; they only nerf cards that they believe are detrimental to the game as a whole.
Nah, you are assuming they only nerf cards which break the game. They nerf cards so they can print newer, better ones, to sell to us. It's all about the money, friend, not the balance. If it was about the balance, well...shit, we'd have a far different game at this point than the clown fiesta cluster fuck we have now. I thought I was clear about what "breaks" the game IE Warsong Commander, giving Frothing berserkers charge (or whatever) was plain and simply, broken.FWA being a real choice to include in your deck, Wild Growth being a real choice to include in your deck, these were clearly, never broken (they were balanced since day 1, Blizz chose to upset that balance for...you guessed it...money)
Bro they didn't even try it at 3 mana, that was the real kick in the nuts. Like...from 2 to 4, really? For a class that already has a bajillion fantastic options to play for 4 mana?
Honestly? All of them (except whatever ones they made where the card otherwise, truly broke the game, such as something like Warsong Commander). But, essentially, all of the cards that have been nerfed (or again, 80-90% of them) would be completely fine in their non-nerfed state, in current Hearthstone. Would Wild Growth even be played anymore, even at 2 mana? Honestly, probably not, right? So why is it 3 mana, where it 100% assuredly never sees play? Because...they wanted to print and sell the powercrept 2 mana version which also draws you a card? Cool, thanks Blizz, really with you on that one...Or classic example, Undertaker? Everyone has the ability to deal 2 damage early, now. There's tons and tons more removal than ever before. More weapons. Everyone has everything, especially the ability to deal with an early Undertaker (previously only something like Warrior, with 2 mana FWA, was able to deal with it during Naxx...FWA at 3 mana btw, lol...). So why is it kept as an utter poop card?
But yeah, they could all be reverted, aside from the special cases where they truly broke the game. Game at this point is truly broken anyway, why not bring in all the broken things to compete along the other broken things. Unfortunately, I think at this point it's clear nerfs and all that, aren't about the balance or health of the game, but about wasting more of our money/dust, wasting more of our time, and essentially, getting more money out of us. That's what it's all about...and that was the true death knell of the game for me. I still play, of course...but yeah, heavily less invested than ever before, partly because of how they nerf cards just to make more money.
Not nearly as much as when the game first came out, and it's been going downhill bit by bit every expansion since League of Explorers or so, I'd say. Playing every expansion since beta btw. The powercreep and focus on broken cards/mechanics and randomization over actual thought or skill has simply killed any enjoyment for me. I log on every few days to do my quests as quickly as possible, since I do still have some interest in the game (along with sunk cost fallacy), but yeah, HS is pretty much dead at this point.
I think this game may no longer be for me...and that's okay. It's just, this powercreep is unreal this expansion, coming from someone from beta playing all the way till now. The fact that there's a 4 mana, 5/4 dragon, with can't be targeted...and that's just the first and arguably worst card on this list...meanwhile, chillwind yeti, a 4/5 untagged card, with no ability...it's just sad (and weird) to me that they've completely busted their game to this extent. Why is that 4 mana 5/4 dragon with can't be targeted, not a, I dunno, 4/4? Something reasonable? But no, it has premium stats, a tag, and a useful ability. Like, what the hell, man? Oh well...I guess it's time
Jesus, the power creep is insane...does anyone else get disappointed rather than excited seeing cards like this? Just...it's so blatantly better than so many cards that came before it. Discover cards are supposed to be like...less stats for the discover effect. This is just...ridiculous. Maybe it's just me and I'm old and crotchety
Wild Growth died for this eh? A powercrept version, at 1 mana less than the current WG, no less? We're really reaching new heights of "wtf" (at least imo) very dispiriting.
You're basically asking how you can be luckier playing the lottery, or playing keno or something. You can incrementally and slightly increase your "luck" by becoming more skilled and knowledgeable, but ultimately, you are at the mercy of RNG. Just how it is, friend. Sorry
Yep, honestly if I see it's big priest, unless I draw perfectly (and sometimes even then) I'll just concede. It's the only way something will be done about it. If everyone auto-concedes to big priest, I'm sure Blizz will take notice. Because obviously that's no fun. For anyone.

I would also use a second Marsh Hydra if I had one as well. The new 8 drop 8/8 rush with Honorable Kill is also worthy of inclusion.

Possibly the most power-crept expansion ever? :(

Dude I tempo kill quest shamans all the time with damn budget homebrew decks. Just kill them before they even complete the quest.
