I will say the new art is actually worse. Felstalker is okay, but between it and succubus I'll definitely take succubus. Queen of pain is overdesigned to the point of being generic asian mmo enemy. Can't say I like old Mistress of pain art though, as it has rather dubious anatomy. Windfury Harpy is okay, but old art was better. Secret Keeper is a huge step down. The old art looks great compared to new one. The new one has notably worse colors and dynamic (the hair is overly bushy). The utterly generic pose does not help either. Bite is actually good, except maybe it does not feel like what "Bite" should look like, but I digress. Deadly shot and Headcrack are the worst offenders. Rich, detailed and impactful deadly shot was changed for random ass arrow and ballista in the middle of nowhere. 3/4 of the image is the fucking orange canvas. Is this for real? Headcrack has a poorly drawn goblin with a nearly indistinguishable target in same time having too many details which lead nowhere. The only saving grace of it is that original Headcrack is too damn dark to make out on first glance.
Why not a 'random minion'? Does it mean you can choose what it eats? No.
Why 'eat' insted of 'destroy'? Does it mean that eat will do more than just destroying, like taking its stats? Again, no. Well, at least they bothered to give an actual footage, but seriously you shouldn't need to watch it to quickly understand what it does on glance.
As for the card... if it does not keep stats on death, its crap.
I failed to deliver my point. Effect is not the problem, it's just not good enough. The price is real issue, and even then It wouldn't likely even be played at 4 mana in current meta. On turn 5 this dies to any 5/5 or even 5/4 for negligible effect (and hunter has very limited ways to finish 1health minions). If you have to play it at turn 7 and you haven't won board already, you likely will lose anyway. I can sorta see it in combo deck, but again, 5 mana draw 2(bad/irrelevant cards) is terrible.
I won't even be mentioning how jades and pirates will shit all over it.
Deck thinning in hunter? Please don't make jokes like that. It's completely irrelevant If you remove 2 crappy cards from your deck if you rarely go past 15th card, unless you are making some combo hunter. Standard hunter needs more strong tempo/on curve plays, not flooding board with crappy 1drops.
Entirely unplayable below rank 20. And it's not even a problem of hunter can't play into control at all (which is what we learned from all the time blizzard introduced hunter control cards), it's just card's design. There's a golden rule for cards of this nature, which reads: If outcome of the card is decided on your opponent's play, expect bad results in 90% of times (see Mirror Entity, but this is worse, since it's not secret).
It can be hard removed (and then you instalose), it can be poison'ed, deathrattled (would be funny if Sylvanas Windrunner would still be in the game), divine shileded and frozen. This is already 4 significant counters of the top of my head. I guess we are back to shitty hunter legendaries for nearly every expansion again.
Oh yeah... 6 health 5 drop play with broken effect. Have fun losing at turn6-7 rogue after they play conceal on it. Really resembles me arcane giant as how you can say this card will be broken just from a single glance.
This card is way stronger than it looks, because you would put it into any deck. Loatheb was played in nearly every deck, because its a 5 mana 5/5 with nice effect. This card is 5 mana 5/5 Taunt with great (albeit delayed) effect. Its strong versus aggro (because taunt), its strong versus control (because value), its strong on curve, its strong when behind, its strong when ahead. And if you draw 10/10 Taunt next turn, you might just win on the spot.
Blizzard don't want to give more ridiculous cards to druid, that's why. 4 mana would be a new level of houndmaster so they intentionally made it 5 mana, knowing how hard it would be to fit and play on curve.
The problem with shadowboxer is that it can actually hit the face, and for priest hitting face = do nothing. More over, you can't really combo it with COH, because COH would reset enemy minions health. If anything, shadowboxer saw no play because it was too RNG to rely on it.

Packs wont sell themselves.

Yeah, somehow they manage to do it themselves rather well.

Would you replay a Huffer for 2 mana? Hell yes. Therefore, this card is bullshit.

Jokes on you, hunter barely ever goes to half of his deck, save fatigue.

Theres not enough antiaggro cards for hunter. And this game plan is absurdly optimistic.
