Just went against a shudderwock with an extremely minion heavy odd mage deck and I destroyed him even after he was able to play his shudderwock. The key is to just burn them down right before they can get the combo and since all of the powerful shaman board clears are overload cards, they basically have to wait and wait and wait until they have 10 mana free to play the combo.
the discard mechanic should be punishing. youre getting insane tempo with the discard cards, especially if you have the imp down. and you get the quest reward for to make up for it.
Discard is way too random and wild. At least with something like this you would be able to gain some control even if it is just after the fact.
honestly, this list doesn't really work all that well against all of the aggro on the ladder. Even normal miracle and freeze mage destroy it unfortunately. I really wanted to make a malygos rogue deck but there are too many cards we need in the deck.
Simple enough idea, would make the discard mechanic less punishing and perhaps make it viable. As for the stats and cost, I am not really sure what they should be since this would be on par with N'Zoth etc.
the reason why so many people play casual with aggro decks is either to farm gold or to farm quests. Most people have the cards for a pirate aggro deck and while they do ok on the ladder, they get destroyed by the taunt warrior/quest rogue meta.
You have vanish in the deck because once you get past rank 5 all you see are taunt warriors. The taunt warriors destroy this deck unless you can remove the taunts.

the main difference is that with this deck you don't need to hold onto the 5 card, you can just play them casually.

Odd facehunter is already t2-t1 (destroys shutterwock) and odd mage is fairly decent.

What is this 10 packs legendary rule? Out of my 73 decks, I received 4 legendary cards (all shit btw) and 36 of my packs were duplicates.

I really dont like shield slam in quest warrior. Seems like you gain less and less armor and once you complete the quest it becomes useless.

was able to break into legend with a deck similar to this in the first days. One of the biggest sore spots for this deck is taunt warrior atm.
