Update: most of the card images are there for me, and the DH cards have been added as well. However, some (not all) of my golden cards are displayed as the black blurb as in in the top right corner of OP's screen, next to the golden Innervate.

I can't figure out a rule (if there is one) as for which golden cards are displayed correctly and which ones aren't. For instance, in the Basic set, my golden Innervates are fine, but my golden Moonfire are blurbs; in the Classic set, golden Harrison Jones is fine, but golden Deathwing is a blurb, etc. I looked at it in the browser inspector, and it seems to me that your image files may be corrupted, since, for instance, https: // hs-card-images.hearthpwn.com/enUS/anims/CS2_008_premium_000.png resolves to a blurb.

 Edited to add: the (sad) state of the golden Deathwing in https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/off-topic/site-feedback-support/13-how-to-use-card-tooltips-and-images-on-hearthpwn?comment=1 supports this assumption.

Thanks for the suggestion, but HDT wasn't running yet, and anyway now I can't connect at all, all I get is a timeout screen. Looks like EU servers have gone full potato again.

So I launch HS, and just about all my decks are invalid. In my collection, all my cards from the Basic set are gone, except two non-golden Mark of the Wild.

It depends on a lot of things: how many cards (and which ones) of the previous expansions you own, how many dust you have, whether you plan on also playing Wild down the line, etc.

Another bug: if you play as Priest and try to use your hero power to kill one of their 0/X taunts, sometimes it will instead give it huge stats (9/8 or stuff like this). I haven't been able to understand when exactly this happens, it seems random.

 Maybe the minion was no longer in the pool because your opponents had taken all the available copies, and the one you got offered was the one you sold.

 There's lots of RNG as for which minions you get offered and which enemies they attack, that's for sure. Even then, there are lots of skill involved in choosing when to upgrade the tavern, which minions to pick, how to use your hero power if it's not a passive, etc. Sure, now and then you'll get one of those games where nothing goes your way and you get curbstomped despite your best efforts, but on the whole the best players come out on top most of the time.

I've had the weirdest bug I ever saw happen to me over the past few days. Sometimes, when I launch the game, all my basic cards are gone, as well as the Classic card back and all heroes for all classes - except, for some reason, two non-golden copies of Mark of the Wild and the original Malfurion. I have to quit the game and the battle.net client completely and re-launch several times until the bug goes away.

Has anyone ever experienced something like that? Have the servers gone nuts, or is it something on my side?

I never accept friend requests sent after a game. People on my friends list are IRL friends and family. Problem solved.
