The second card I'm gonna craft right after trade prince. It is vulnerable to removals for its cost. But its flavor is just tooo good.

Is it confirmed that Jaraxxus can be buffed by it since Jaraxxus can be removed by sacrificial pact?

The first card I'm gonna craft after the release. It has a reasonable cost, a great body with 8 toughness, it demands removal and what's even better it copies spell though it gives coins. I suspect Blizzard may change their mind and nerf it in the future.

Oh this card combined with shrinkmister are giving me reasons to play Priest again. I was so sad that spriest wasn't viable before since it is my favourite spec in wow. Now it gives priest players a new option.

thankfully auctioneer still draw cards though it costs more. I feel so happy that rogue players now have the new favorite prince toy in their arensal as a great addition.

posted a message on New Card - Dunemaul Shaman

This card may make aggro Shaman viable in future meta in constructed, or make another type of midrange Shaman. With Shaman's removal set, it is not hard for shaman players to clear the board for Dunemaul. Its stats plus windfury are just too good for its cost even with overload and a downside. It's a threat that needs to be dealt with immediately unless your opponent is totally happy to let Dunemaul to smash their board or face for five by two times, which means you have probably lost that game already.

However, it does require a lot more skills to evaluate the right timing to play. It can also cause you to make mistakes while calculating the odds for your best play of a turn due to its windfury. I love this design.

It's great to see this card is receiving mixed reviews. This means that it is not an obvious "good" or "bad" card designed with flavor, not mentioning the great art. It's both making games more fun for new players and more challenging for competitive players.

I believe this card has great potential to be played in constructed in new kinds of tempo rogue deck getting some help from the new rogue spells combining the traditional rogue removal set. In arena I think it's still a reasonable pick just for its crazy stats.

Magic for 11 years. 3 Grand Prix top 64s, 1 top 32. CCGs are my life. After playing for a year and watching Amaz stream for almost as long (thats why I play priest) I think I know how this game works enough to do very well If i had a deck that could compete with what I'm playing against. I am not blaming the game for my losses by being Pay to Win, im blaming it for matching me up with people who clearly have better cards than I do.

I'm not too familiar with Magic myself, but I do know that it is a CCG that requires a moderate amount of money spending to acquire the cards needed, unless the cards just fell into your lap, then disregard entirely what I'm saying. If you were willing to invest your money in Magic, then I don't see why you're reluctant to spend money towards Hearthstone. The reality is that Hearthstone is just like any other card game out there, I have nothing against players that have gotten most of their collection through means of not spending cash at all, but at the same time, if you truly love this game, and you are determined to get better, how is it not justified to spend just a little bit of pocket change?

If you do wish to remain free to play, I would advise you to move towards faster/aggro decks that don't require much dust, picking a control deck and stubbornly refusing to invest towards the more expensive cards that make it much more viable in game is going to be a dead end for you.

    Exactly. I agree with Taz.

I think you have confused two concepts. HS as a game is not p2w, but most midrange or control decks are not f2p. I played Magic for about five years. Almost all midrange or control decks in constructed Magic require many decent cards to build. Even aggro staples are not cheap. I believe a set of them can easily buy you at least 15x packs in HS.

The reason why HS isn't cosidered a p2w game is that Blizzard is offering you free gold and arena to give you a chance to catch up if you don't want to spend a single penny. If you ever watched trump play his f2p accounts, you'll know that he ususally starts with free class and neutral cards at low ranks to grind money, then gradually collect packs, manage his dust by disenchanting the cards he doesn't need at the moment, and finally form a constructed deck with desired build as he climbs the ladder. I don't think there's a way to start competitve Magic similar to this without buying packs or trading cards.

Furthermore, HS may seem easy compared to Magic on the first sight. From my perspective, it is totally different because in HS board controlling is its core whereas Magic can win through mutiple ways. You may consider leave your knowledge behind and start fresh. Also, watching other people play will give you insights. However, playing the game alone yourself requires more decision making and the guts to make right choices in mind games. I believe you have no difficulty in understanding these if you have achieved such great results in Magic.

I have one more suggestion for your priest deck construction. Put 2x mindcontrol and 2x thoughtsteal in your deck if you're playing against a lot of control decks. These cards can punish them because they're slow. I also suggest you build zoo. Zoo can almost force a 50/50 against any decks with its rush ability and its not expensive to build at all. Hopefully these advice shall help you get better in HS :D

I believe this card will be a staple for all types of priest. It's good in aggro for controlling the board and trading. It's good in midrange and control because it can combo with sw pain or death, also with shadow madness and cabal. What a card.

What if it's not affected by the Coin (as the only spell)? Otherwise, you'd be right. Would be a shame, if those cards are just made-up.

If the prince were legit, the coin would no longer be considered a spell. I guess blizzard's changing it to balance the advantage you obtain starting with the coin.

    going second is a disadvantage

It is presumed so and it is true with most cases in arena. However in constructed, many decks will make full use of the coin and the extra card which actually make it much easier to win by starting with the coin.

    statistics prove otherwise

Yeah you could be right. I haven't checked the official stats for it. But last time I checked in my local community, all the legend players who have their win rates recorded have at least a 5% higher win rate by starting with the coin. Also, I was only suggesting blizzard may think the coin being a spell can bring unwanted advantage which is not the same advantage tempo you suggested.
