With demon hunter and less stars, everyone can get legend with an almost f2p deck and don't need skills. Let's be honest. It is not hard to pilot the DH deck.
That shouldn't be salty, but I think it's definitly one huge point.

Well, the short answer is yes, legend has become easier to achieve.
However, this is greatly exaggerated. Essentially what has happened is that a lot of the people who were rank 5 regulars in the old system have managed to get to legend. This is because the grind has become much less. Essentially, all of the people who are 'good enough' to hit legend are now able to. In the past, the consensus was if you could hit rank 5 every season with ease, if you grinded enough you would make it to legend. Most people just weren't willing to make that grind.
However, now many less games are required. The star bonus quickly accelerates you to Diamond (Typically 10 or 5), and you only have to have to be 15 games positive from D5, as opposed to the 25 from rank 5.
Essentially, it takes less games to hit D5 then it did to hit rank 5, and it takes less games to hit legend from D5 than it did from rank 5. As such, legend is unmistakably easier to achieve.
HOWEVER: I see lots of players saying 'everyone can hit legend now, its so easy, hurr hurr.' These people are simply incorrect. Bad players are still 'skill capped' at whatever level of play they are. The reason people get stuck in gold, platinum, or diamond is because they aren't skilled enough to climb further. These players will not climb and will not hit legend until they improve.
The difference is that the good players are no longer 'grind capped' (I just made that term up) by the sheer number of games it used to take to hit legend. For 'legend worthy' players who have a positive winrate against other players from D5 to legend, legend is now much easier to achieve. For bad players, it is still impossible.
This is in absolutely no way a bad thing. The game has become less grindy, and everyone should be happy about this.

some people seem to not like it but im 4-0 against singleton hunter, 2x quest rogue and a cyclone mage. been a really fun deck even beat the rogue without drawing a single crystology. Really fun too just making tons of 2/2 eggs and whelps, i wonder if it needs a little more draw other than the crystology but im not a good deck builder.
Edit: went from rank 12 to 10 so maybe the decks down there are more aggro so its performing better?

This deck is so great! Works on leader around rank 5 really well. Best thing about this deck is how it works against warriors! I am 9-1 so far, only lose was with quest shaman after really long game.

My first win streak in weeks. (on rank 15!) great deck, very straight forward.

I too like the quest Paladin. I run a version with 2xsubdue too but I am struggling against all aggro decks. Will definitely try this one thanks!

10-0 so far with this deck.

If you feel bad for Priest, go play wild for 10 minutes and you will change your mind and instead, dare I say it, you will hate it with a passion

Just tech in a Chief Inspector. Not so much to help with the matchup, but because the moment you do, you'll never see a hunter again.

If you remove Sap then Rogue auto-loses when a big taunt is dropped. Dealing with single targets is one of Rogue’s strengths. Sap wasn’t even an auto-include in a lot of Rogue meta decks until this expansion. Really the only problematic Rogue card is Edwin, who is really feel-bad if he’s played early.

Zephrys won’t ever be changed, it’s Team 5’s baby. It’s an insanely powerful card and a really neat design. That said, I won’t be sad when it leaves standard, Highlander decks with their one-card swing turns have worn out their welcome for me.

A complete what? I always preorder and never regret my decision. Btw people like me who do spend a little money keep this game afloat for f2p players like you so maybe don’t be so judgmental.
Anyway 85 packs from the preorder and 80 packs from gold.

I’ve always thought Brawl was a horribly unfun card to play against but it’s evergreen and I have to deal with it. I’ve always thought 90% of Priest cards in the meta were horribly unfun and uninteractive as well. The point is that Hearthstone is, was, and always be full of feel-bad cards. This one will be if your a control player. Btw this card is going to be dead against aggro so it might not even see play depending on how the meta plays out so let’s not burn Blizzard at the stake just yet

Forums like these are always an echo chamber of negativity and outrage, so unfortunately you’re probably wasting your breath. Juicy PsychMelon got the same reaction when it was revealed and besides a short run in Wild it turned out to be garbage. I for one can’t wait to play Glide against some greedy control decks and watch them cry before they concede.

Twilight acolyte is powerful, but it’s pretty iffy against aggro, especially the new Paladin deck. I just don’t see what you would take it for the pirates. Glimmeroot and Talonpriest review too much value. To me this is more of a midrange deck. If you survive the first four turns without taking too much damage it’s game over. Definitely agree on corridor Creeper. If you board clear with dusk breaker and drop a free 5/5 it’s game over. The netherspites are too helpful in slower matchups to remove for Keleseth, plus the Faerie Dragons work rather well.

This deck is awesome, thanks for the post. I went ahead and refined it a bit because dragonfire is way to good to leave out. Here are my adjustments:
I took out archivist (too slow), 1 mind control, spellbreaker (not necessary) and added two dragonfire potions and another Corridor Creeper. My win rate against aggro has gone way up since they just can’t recover from so many board clears, and you still have a 60% chance of pulling an 8 or 10 drop from summoner (plus pulling a 6 drop isn’t bad by any means). I don’t think I’ve lost against a single hunter or aggro pally deck with these changes and only lost to tempo Mage because they drew the nuts and I drew all my big stuff.

I've already gone 14-3 with this deck. I subbed the yeti for polluted wisp though... OP on turn before C'Thun

Aggro is a top tier deck, it gave me my final push to rank 5 last season.

Love this deck. Mech mage is one of my favorites but I prefer a more mid-range style, which this deck fits perfectly. Also I finally get a chance to play with my gold Sneed's thats been gathering dust in my collection forever. Thanks dude!
