Has anyone ever tried using rockbiter + windfury as a FoN + Savage Roar-like finisher in shaman? It's more dependant on having a minion with high attack, but only 3 mana, and after 4 attack, it's better than FoN + Savage Roar on an empty board. And as it only costs 3 mana, you can add in flametongue totems, bloodlust, more rockbiters or any other attack buffs to increase the damage.
Rafaam isn't the only minion on the deck usually. If you're ahead on the board, Rafaam might just win you the game next turn. And if the opponent clears your board, you don't lose the lantern. You can use it on something that lives later.
I've been using both Rafaam and Ysera in control priest, and both of them have won me games.
Also, about Rafaam, I actually rarely pick the Mirror of Doom. The lantern or even the timepiece can get their effect in much faster and can be used as burst.
Finally won Rafaam (THE SUPREEEME ARCHEOLOGIST) with a modified control priest. Got confessor paletress from the discover 3 copies of a minion. They gave me a majordomo (which then died) and strong minions to finish him off.
Tried to do rafaam with a modified control priest like 20 times today. EVERY TIME i've been about to kill him he gets something from unstable portal or burgles something that kills me.
Against mages, remember some of the common spells they might have, like flamestrike. Avoid having tol many minions on the field that would die to 4 damage on turn 7 and later. Sometimes you just have to take the risk and either win or lose most of your board to flamestrike though.
A lot of tech cards that you won't really wan't to put in your deck but can save your life are in the 3 mana slot, like BGH and Blood Knight. And for shaman, which it has seen use at, there's cards like Hex and Lightning Storm. And it's not a random card. You get to choose from random cards, so whatever card it is, it is most likely better than atleast 2 other cards at that situation
3-3 is pretty nice for a new player. That should almost always give you your gold back in value of things got (pack is 100 gold, and you probably need cards so they're actually valuable)

I now average 12 as warrior.

Opened a golden Vol'jin from a pack after a 4-3 arena. I could disenchant him for some other legendary, but is he good in control priest?

What about Windfury and rockbiter?

Is this a bad idea, or could it actually work?

3rd 12 win run, also probably my strongest arena deck ever.

Just another typical day of arena. First, I face 2 paladins with amazing decks and then this stuff happens.
(He mind visioned the spellslinger. I actually got an anyfin on a previous battle from a spellslinger too. RNG just hates me that much.)
Later I died of Lightspawn + PW:S + Velens Chosen + Holy Spirit. Apparently i just get horrible rng or my opponents get great rng when I play mage.

Was winning an arena, when suddenly the game decided to bug. The opponents turn wouldnt end and then I just lost. Seriously.

Swapped from shaman to midrange paladin and wow that worked out well. Just hit rank 5 for the first time in my life with it.

Yeah, bad luck can be pretty annoying in arena.
