Yeah, I just don't think the cards are there yet.
The Paladin hero ability is simply terrible, and their class cards are built around healing and buffing single targets.
Anything is possible if you're just playing for fun, but for ladder climbing, you just don't have the parts to make that particular machine run.
Having said that, Aggro Paladin is perfectly viable, and kind of close in theme.

Eh, that's a pretty... weird argument. (I'm being generous here by not calling it something a lot worse.) It's always good for a card game when there are lots of options to interact with card types. What are you saying here? That nothing should ever change? It's natural to expect improvements, and I would be utterly shocked if in a year there aren't multiple ways of interacting with secrets.

Heh, that guy with the badger portrait must think some of the best SC2 pros are terrible bads because they have had at one time or another winrates below 50% or even 40% in the GSL.
