Hunter ... in Wild? What!? This deck is a lot of fun to play. I like the list because it is very creative. Not Tier1, but still solid.

I also won most games against secret mage, which is considered Tier 1.5 and it is currently the most played deck on all servers.
Token druid is though tho, cuz of the limited removal and turn 1 options. Would probably swap a secret for one explosive trap.

Maiev is often lethal in this deck. Turn 5-9 are often Burn phases where you just kill your opponent. Maiev can delete taunts for face damage. Won me several games. Was never bad.

Secretkeeper is really bad in mage. The secrets cost too much and the chance of getting better stats is too low. The mana curve just does't work. You will lose tempo, while you actually try to create tempo. Secretkeeper is a card for Hunter and Paladin. in Wild decks you have tons of options and not even there you play Secretkeeper in mage.

This card is NUTS! If you play this in an aggressive warrior deck, you can easily get a 3 mana 5/5 on turn 3!
Even without Rush, this would be pretty solid.

posted a message on Revamping Progression & Rewards in Hearthstone

This is a complicated and emotionally charged topic. I enjoy HS myself, this is not a 'hatepost', but I actually really dislike this change.

The gaming industry is drastically shifting at the moment. Many companies enforce new subtile ways to make tons of money using micro transaction. If you look into investor reports from activision blizzard, but also EA you'll see that the entire industry is pushing towards mobile/micro transaction/milking/whalehunting. Activision started doing Lootboxes (Cardpacks) and Season Passes within the last years. The results were always the same. People get more stuff, but the items that they get are less important and random. This means: You get more stuff that you don't need. You pay more for less. You need to pay more to get the same. People will maybe downvote this because they don't want to hear it, so let me tell you this. Let's talk about this in 1-2 years, as a recap. You'll get what I mean and there will be no discussion because everyone that is invested in HS will understand the system. Just look at the CoD season pass - thats a great example. Its a very clever system created by addiction psychologist to maximize profit.

Several years ago I made a huge reddit posts about things that HS could improve on. By now, they implemented almost everything I posted, except the monetary system. I would prefer having much cheaper access to cards, while having much more cosmetics with higher pricing (see League of Legends).

TL;DR: If they actually make it easier for F2P players.. great. But I don't believe that, based on Activision Blizzards past business decisions and investor calls. I think the opposite will happen.

Check out Thijs version of the deck, works quite well. Maybe it needs some adjustment now, since the deck is some weeks old by now.
But yeah, the list showed here is horrible, you need to play it much more aggressively (Tempo). There is also one guy that plays Tempo Warrior without the quest, he got to Rank15 Legend (he was on twitch, forgot the name).

" Things are going to get worse before they get better. Only by working together can we overcome the darkness."

By adding cards to the deck you make it inconsistent, but you start with more HP, which is powerful against aggro strategies. By cutting cards you start with less HP, which is very risky, but your deck will be much more consistent. This card opens a lot of possibilities in deckbuilding, but at the same time you have to be very careful about the risks of inconsistency and health.

Can you make a combo deck work? Can you make an aggro deck with a small combo? Can you make a 40-card control deck that is consistent enough? Can you make a 40-card Reno List? The options are endless ...

which is completly useless since you can't run 2-drops... the nerf is perfect in my opinion. You can still play both Genn and Baku, OR another archetype with Call to Arms (which btw. still is powerful) but you don't have all the power packages together.

posted a message on Is NetDecking a Problem?

    Quote from Ilikemoba >>

Idk wtf you are talking about but netdecking is very real in Yu-gi-oh and other cardgames. Stop spreading BS please. I've been playing a lot of other cardgames over Hearthstone lately and if you think there's no netdecking or not as much as in Hearthstone then you're 100% wrong.

Yes I agree that there is netdecking is a thing in every TCG, but still the attitude of the playerbase, especially in a competitive enviroment is different. Don't forget that in HS you have Decktrackers and a lot of almost Realtime Data that helps to analyze everything quicker. What I tried to say is that the mentality and the way of approaching the game is different and slower in RL Cardgames (even if those games are played digitally).

posted a message on Is NetDecking a Problem?

If you play a physical cardgame, as a new player you don't have all cards available, even if you spend a lot of money. Every player is literally forced to at least build his own deck at the beginning. The mentality of the mass is completly different in HS vs. other TCG's. You have a list of all cards in the game, even the cards that you don't own. A lot of people are streaming on twitch, the is more going on online in general.

I played Yu-Gi-Oh for many many years and EVERYONE tried to build decks and getting better at it - no one ever had the idea of copying decks. In Hearthstone people aren't even thinking about building decks, because the community lives a different "lifestyle".

I think the actual issues are:
    - People want to be "competitive" in a game that isnt really competitive (my opinion). Even tho we have a competitive scene and tournaments, the fundament is a "simple, fun and interactive game for casuals". There are many RNG cards to get Winrates down to 50%. Lifecoach quit because he realized that after visiting Blizz HQ. I personally don't have a problem with that, but I think this "illusion" creates a dissonance within the community. People are tryharding on the ladder, which is unhealthy for the game. Instead people should play and try things for fun and get good winrates as side product. Good examples of this are Kibler and Toast.

    - Release Schedule: They only release a expansion every 4 months - and Blizz say they are happy with that. I think it's horrible.
They should SPLIT every pack into 2-3 subpacks. Same amount of cards to design, same amount of money for us to spend, but the game would completly change. Permanent changes, permanently new experiences. Id would create the enviroment that blizzard actually wants.

Of course people would still netdeck, but it would be different in my opinion. Netdecking itself isn't the problem. The combination of problems make netdecking a real troublemaker.

EDIT: Are you interested in a 50-100 page indepth deckbuilding guide (that explains a little bit more than "you need t solid mana curve" bla bla)? And if yes, where do you think is the best platform to post this?
