Skythe posted a message on Year of the Dragon Card - Sludge Slurper UnnerfedPosted in: NewsMakes NO sense.
The game is full of unplayable cards (from classic to most recent set), and instead of buffing those to make em even fringe playable, they buff a playable card because it's not overpowered anymore? What?

Roadie posted a message on Does everyone like that this game has gone "full casino mode"?Posted in: General DiscussionI remember back when you sort of had to think about plays, only had to "play around" a few copies of broken/powerful cards. Or when matchups werent so polarizing where even your "worst" ones were still worth playing out. What happened? How or why did this game turn into a slot machine? Why do we have to face decks that literally end up with like 50 or 60 cards? Or, decks that end up with like 4-5 copies of super strong cards that you really shouldnt get to have more than TWO of. How is this good for the game? Theres a reason why powerful cards have deck limits and stuff. Right?
Yeah, yeah, no one liked pure curvestone either but did it have to go this far? Cant we balance it a little better between *some* randomness and "crazy" plays and good old class-only identities/cards? A lot of games you can instantly concede because your chances of winning are somewhere around 0%. And how can you plan out or deal with things that shouldnt even happen? I dont get the attraction to this 100% randomized casino we have now. No skill, no nothing. Just chuck them dice out there....ya know???? :(

EmoGit posted a message on The state of Hunter in Standard is a jokePosted in: General DiscussionReturning from a few expansion break from Standard, I decided to make a burgle rogue type of deck for fun and test it out in Casual. Low and behold, the same face hunter decks I have been facing in Wild started to pop up over and over and over again. Hunters have a bunch of different decks in wild, so you're not always guaranteed to face an ultra aggressive face hunter, as there are a few spell and quest hunters and various more mid-range decks available, so I didn't even get that tired of Face Hunter in wild since it's pretty easy snacks for a Reno deck with not terrible draw.
After playing casual all day, I feel terrible for anyone with an IQ above 55, who is trying to actually enjoy Standard (and the game) and has to keep facing these decks all day on their grind to whatever rank they want. But I don't really blame the players since Blizzard have ruined Standard Hunter to the point where the class has no alternative to super aggressive face decks, since Blizzard doesn't print any control cards for it, or throws in a one-off control card into an expansion that then gets put into aggro deck fors win more value anyway (IE DK Rexxar and The Newer Hero Card) because it has nothing else to support it in a control deck.
To conclude, I don't blame Face Hunters personally, for doing what they are doing but more so the sad state that your daddy Blizzard has left you, when he went for that pack of cigarettes a year ago, never came back and left the alcoholic and abusive step-dad in charge. But I do blame the people who take face hunter to Casual to bully new players and ruin the fun for anyone trying out fun decks there.
PS. Anyone who comes here to claim Singleton Dragon Hunter deck is not an aggro deck, should just not bother because we both know that's not the truth.

Skyi101 posted a message on Battlegrounds - Blizzard Patch Teaser?Posted in: NewsIf only Blizzard had/would spend half the energy making standard/wild balanced as BGs... And fix the buckets in arena, it's as if this RNG mobile unfriendly mode is 100% more important than the actual game.
They wouldn't even need BGs to keep HS a float if they had taken care of the game in the first place.

All shaman legendaries are trash as always.

Skull of Gul'dan is bugged now, if you use outcast Skull and draw outcast Eye Beam it cost will become 1. And if it goes one position to the left, it costs 0.

shit, stops by any lackey/other token card

REEE l2p this card is perfectly balanced!!!
This answer should have been here. Dunno why blizz fans skipped you.

1. Weekday global card bans for ranked that people can nominate. The elo-ban system from Urban Rivals card game, maybe you heard about that.
2. More in-game options like auto-squelch already was suggested. Seriously, the ingame menu lets you only change the resolution, graphic quality and the sound, there's nothing that makes your game quality better.
3. Advanced animation skip mechanic.

It was the highest winrate deck two day ago for shaman. Now Electra is replaced by second faceless and this version beats the top.
