The basic strategy for Battlegrounds is waste as little resources as possible refreshing so you have more chance of completing your build later. Buy a random minion for 3 gold and leave in your hand rather than searching for something, let your build come to you and use those extra minions at critical moments.
Arena is the best method for using gold if you can maintain at least a 4 win average but at the cost of having to play tons of Arena games. Ultimately it's only really worth it if you enjoy that mode. If you do absolutely go ahead and become an Arena player for a while.
Otherwise make sure you have 2000 gold ready for the mini-sets, unlock old Adventures if you can and open up to 10 packs in all the expansions you haven't yet done so in to trigger the initial Legendary pity timer. The rest of your gold spend on new expansion packs.
I like this deck but I replaced Cenarion Ward with Best in Shell. With Owl Warlock gone from the meta you don't really need all that armour and Shell comes earlier and has the same defensive synergy with Solar Eclipse (plus Tradable is useful). Y'shaarj seems outdated as well.
Nice deck otherwise though, climbing up from D5 with it.
Nice card if it's generated, summoned or pulled onto the board because the end of turn effect still triggers. It's not a candidate for decks based on its own inherent strength though but could find a place if a midrange board based Paladin deck is good.
Decent card thanks to Tradeable keyword. It's almost a tech card level of specialist so being able to exchange it for another card when you don't need the effect is pretty powerful.
Zero logic in the OPs post. By his own reasoning a hero power has an effect worth 0.5 mana from cards. DH having +1 attack for 1 mana implies the +1 attack is worth 0.25 mana and Warrior having +2 armour for 2 mana implies +1 armour is worth 0.25 mana. So +1 attack and +1 armour is worth 0.5 mana, which is exactly the value it should be.
I guess I got lucky and beat them all first try. However the boss I almost lost to was the sludge one, not even the the last two which everyone seems to hate. Sludge boss took me down to exactly 1HP with a Bloodlust on turn 5 and I spent the next 5 turns desperately clinging on with single digit hp at the end of every turn until I drew a Conviction on Turn 10 which cleared his board with +1 spellpower.

I hope this dust comes to EU as well

It will surely be sold again at some point because it's such a nice skin. Just have to wait it out.

Mecha'thun is clearly the best C'thun version! I've played more Mecha'thun Rogue than is healthy so I may be slightly biased...

Maybe in another meta where control decks haven't been eviscerated by quest decks

Now this is a useless card!

Demonbane Illidan is my favourite. I think he suits the new more anime art style the best.

They could call physical based spells something different eg Kinetic. You could fit more spells into that category
