That's how Hearthstone is. It is incredibly difficult to get to high ranks without good cards (Legendaries and Epics). Many streamers have done "free to play" runs and have made the Legend rank without paying any money. Try to watch one of those and learn about playing at a disadvantage. 

This is the first ever standard format meta analysis. The article states that you should take all of the matchup percentages with a grain of salt. The met has not completely settled yet, so new decks are popping up, and some are also fading out of popularity. Tempo Storm did not publish this in order to tell you which decks are the best. It is simply to show which decks are trending as of now. Things will change a lot in the coming weeks and maybe even months and Tempo Storm understands that. 

I don't know what t2 is, but I played the deck in standard. 

I have been playing Control Warrior lately. I was at rank 5 and got to rank 3 with relative ease because I kept getting paired against Shaman. My record is something crazy like 15-3 against the deck.
