There are basically three answers to this question.
1. The first card that made an insane impact and could be played in almost every deck was Dr.7 himself. Control, Midrange, Zoo and even some Aggro-decks... our lord and saviour was almost everywhere.
2. Remember the time even Priest ran the Pirate-Package? Guess who was in Charge. Patches the Pirate in his original form.
3. If we are looking at cards in their current state the answer would be Baku and Genn. It is getting harder and harder for new cards to have an impact in WILD. Never the less both Cards enable various top tier decks in WILD!
Call of the Wild is basically down to a win-more-card. And at 9 mana it is too expensive compared to other more flexible cards.
Zul'jin on the other hand is a potential finisher, comeback, defense, swingcard or simply value card.
In Wild CotW would make sense at 8 mana while beeing Rexxar-DK after using the heropower without getting something of value. At 8 mana CotW is pretty much pointless at this point.

It is a simple non-statement like: "Water isn't good for you per se. You can drown in water!"
And everyone who really thinks that these two cards can't be nerfed has a massive lack of imagination.

Call of the Wild better than Zul'jin?
Where? How? When?
