Man, I sure am glad that Blizzard took the initiative to dumb down Hearthstone! I mean, anything that isn't a face deck is just too difficult for us players, amirite?
IT JUST MAKES THE GAME SO MUCH MORE FUN WHEN BOTH SIDES ARE JUST THROWING CARDS AT EACH OTHER RACING TO DO 30 DAMAGE
Seriously, Blizzard, way to break a game that used to be so much fun.
I really like these decks that incorporate cards that got nerfed but used to define the meta. Playing them makes me feel like i'm defying Blizzard's bullshit changes.
I think the card is quite on the OP side of things, especially in a Tirion and deathrattle-heavy meta, and for priests ( Who already have tons of minion-handling solutions, Shadow Words first and foremost, but the stealing shenanigans along with them ). Destroying a minion usually comes at the price of 5 ( Without any condition that is ; Else, yeah, BGH and Shadow Words do it for cheaper ), but doing so while suppressing any deathrattle before getting the card yourself ( Which, usually, is very good ) is insane.
Compare to the 2 only ( AFAIR ) flat-out, condition-less destroy cards, Assassinate and Siphon Soul and you'll understand ; Sacrifice a 3-health gain or 1 mana to save yourself a 5/3 weapon for your opponent, one of your minions joining their side, or a random Legendary minion, or even just 2 2/2s ? Ermh. Yeah. I mean, I know cross-classes comparison are bad...But come on...
Blizzard is severely under-estimating the efficiency of silences, maybe because they see that they're only scarcely played amongst control decks ( Ironbeak Owl is the most played and even then isn't all that much played ), but it's mostly because they have an extremely low card-efficiency and that goes against control ; When they're put side-by-side with another ( More powerful ) effect or even just cheaper to mitigate that weakness, they usually become extremely good.
Polymorph isn't that much played - though it is still a one-off in a lot of mage decks - but mages do not play control.
Earth Shock, Hex, if you're leaving home without any combination of those as a Shaman, you've failed us all.
And now Entomb...While Rogue that always has had that "Send back to deck/hand" theme and is desesperately being pushed toward control by Blizzard is stuck with one of the worst removal in the game ( Maybe Druid's got it worse, but it's always been their very intended weakness ). I have trouble understanding why Blizzard denies Rogue cards that would fit in so well in it, but at least they finally got a new deck/a deck update since GvG that expansion, can't really complain.
So this is a more of a "i'm super sad" post than a salty one.
I was just competing in a HS tourney. I was in the last match of the second round, and had perfect lethal. Then I accidentally killed the beast I had out and missed lethal because I couldn't double kill command.
Just to be a dick,he could have been considering if you would steal it with priestess.
i already stole 2 things with my cabal and i wont consider ever taking a clockwerk gnome, he has been roping from the start why stop now that he has 1 card left in topdeck mode.
Your time was destined to be wasted the moment u chose to play priest.
I really enjoy playing the more complicated decks that require a lot of planning and strategy to play effectively. Unfortunately these decks, while fun, usually get their asses handed to them by rush decks.
I have played several ranked games tonight and EVERY SINGLE ONE has been a face hunter, face warrior, or zoo lock.
WTF!!! Please people stop mindlessly chucking minions into play, and play a deck that takes even an iota of skill.
Base cards are often overlooked, and for this reason, many people do not realize that Sen'jin is actually a very good card. The stats you get for its mana cost are excellent.
Btw Volcanic Lumberer is actually very good if a deck is built around him. You can get some insane tempo by [Force of Nature -> (hypothetically) six things die -> Play lumberer for three(ish) mana]. There are other situations where this would also be good, such as trading with a full board.
The way to beat rush deck with Mill Rogue is to gang up the healbots. Generally one healbot is enough to make face cancer run out of steam and die. Imagine five healbots. Or eight. Essentially, heal as much as you can and make smart trades.

I hope all ladder priest players get terminal cancer so that they can experience what they play.

So I did a bit of a test to check out how many of each kind of deck you see while playing. I played six games and here were my results:
Game 1 - Face Hunter
Game 2 - Face Hunter
Game 3 - Face Hunter
Game 4 - Mech Druid (lol what)
Game 5- Midrange Shaman
Game 6 - Face Hunter
66.6% Face Hunters..... Hmm....

You know, I really wish the players of Face Hunter would stop sucking the fun out of hearthstone. :/
Just putting that out there.

Anyways, just wanted to interject that.
