The reason things like chaos nova arent played are because demon hunter plays an aggro deck. Its the new face hunter nothing else, and you dont need anything that doesnt go face.
Deck has a win condition. Summon something big, give it ancestral spirit. Muckmorpher is there to cheat out something 4 turns earlier.
Problem: while you can definitely win vs aggro, you might also draw poorly - with top heavy curve really hurting your draw chances. On the other side, youre lacking control tools in the lategame.
Many games look like this : Hex + Ysera doesnt work. You hex + Pass with 4 mana left over after hero power. Next turn, Hagathas scheme + totem + pass. Last turn, no removes left, slap archmage, he gives you something that doesnt recover - game over.
with 2 "recover cards", witchbrew and fountain, youre also going to struggle vs aggro - drawing ONE of these doesnt win you the game, and chances are - youre not muckmorphing into fountain, witches brew is in the bottom 15 cards - which you wont see without good draw. Face hunter and Demon hunter arent going to be easy matchups at all.
Yes, a good draw can win you games. But turns like 6 free cards in rouge, highlander tempo turns, or.. a good draw from aggro - can definitely present a huge problem.
That's one of those combos that's never going to ever happen to you, ever, but a total of one person in the history of all time will show up in a trolden video pulling it off.
It's not completely unreasonable. There are a lot of 1 mana spells, especially spells that generate more 1 mana spells. You don't need to hit 7 from invocation, sometimes only 3 or 4.
It won't be common, but the stars don't need to align that hard
Note that hearthstone isn't a card game. It only simulates one.
If I play flight simulator lm not a pilot in real life.
Hearthstone expansions should be priced at 20 dollars, but becaus people are willing to pay for it, or are invested so strongly, they can charge whatever.

They don't even find a spot in my highlander shaman. They're the kind of "eeeh maaaybe this is good enough" where you experiment and theyre first to go
I dont think you can kill him before turn 7. I tried once with this

I only tried once, and had him to 5 hp in his last phase. Its not impossible by any means, but beating him requires a lot of retries, to get the exact cards you need at the exact time.
You can pop a doomsayer on turn 6, it will instantly end the sword phase after a 5 damage attack (Minions remaining will be healed to full, but cant attack in the same turn)
Realistically, you need to build your deck around steps in beating him -> surviving a 3/4 minion (doomsayer, freeze, taunt etc), atttacking on turn 3, having enough healing to survive a few turns in phase 3 - then dealing with the sword phase - either with doomsayer,Mossy horror, then just bring it home with some highrolls in phase 3.

i bet he cares. Ignore me too while youre at it. Noone gives a fuck about your opinion, you just tell yourself you matter.

Altruis - Face.
Chaos nova - No face no play.

2nd walking fountain needs to be in here permanently, that card is one of the best shaman cards. Definitely better than blatant decoy.
Otherwise, i like it. looks great

I don't think so, it would make tech even more powerful with deathwing. You're T4 really quickly, and at that point deathwing is equal in strength
3
Idk, tirion is definitely weaker than before the patch. Not by much.
Just because savjz puts out a tier list doesn't make it certain. Also every game had an s tier. Remove tirion and deathwing, now it's something else.
I do think deathwing might be on the too strong side though, possibly tirion.
I'm just not sure that they're always weaker than rafaam, alextraza or yogg

I think you missed the last 5 years where this was already the case.

came here expecting the advertised OTK,
found out it took him about 5 turns of praying, and a turn of setup, to barely kill an opponent with stealth minions.
worst deck detected.

is the deck i used to beat him

Nice. Pyramid bro isn't the strongest but he fights hard .
And he is just generally alright for anything you play. Health is great in battlegrounds

It's not as good as just a plain aggro deck imo.
But if you're looking for cards to add, id go for early drops to push some pressure, and possibly already chip some damage

Nah. He's really as bad as you say.
He could have been ok, ish if he started with 3 or retained 1 gold for a reroll permanent, while starting with 2.
As it is now, he's just super punishing to play, and you don't benefit from his ability. It's more of a handicap.
I've been surprised by tirion though, he's decent
