Actually, if I recall, shudderwock and tess greymane we're both given the Yogg Clause of "if this minion's battle cry destroys, silences, transforms or otherwise removes itself from the board, the battle cry sequence ends", so transforming itself might be decidedly uninteresting in shudderwock shaman. But I can't say for sure, gotta play test the cards to find out.
Not so sure this would synergize with mechathun. Yes, it would put it on the field, but if it triggers death rattle and it checks for empty board, deck, hand then well mechathun is still on the board. Same as if you Play Dead mechathun. IT doesn't win the game
It's basically the same, but if you have two of this then you can skip the leyline set up turn and do it all at once. Not a different combo, just a time saver, which combos often want
I'm just curious, OP, but what do you mean by "complex" mechanics? Like graphically innovative? Logically? What's an example? Are you saying along the lines of Rush being similarly complex to Charge? Is that "not complex"? What is a complex mechanic? You seem to be suggesting that more complex mechanics used to come out. Was Echo complex? Or like hero or quest cards? I'm just not sure what exactly you mean. Thanks for clarifying!
I mean I guess it's similar in that both cost 1 less than their basic counterpart (Assassinate costs 5, Murder costs 3, 2 black and 1 colorless, and MTG wtp costs 2B) and add a condition. But in MTG the condition is that it can't target Merfolk. This one depends more on how you play it, opposed to what kind of deck your opponent is playing.
I think we can't quite judge this one yet. Kind of like Gral, the stats just don't seem right. The whole theme of rogue this set is "cheating" so I'm imagining we're going to see a few more cards that let you cheat things out. Not sure how rogue is gonna look this expansion, but it makes sense to reveal some of the more "underwhelming on their own" cards first, before showing the synergies.
I just used the leeroy Jenkins example because you mentioned him as an option for the keyword. I'm not sure how useful that example would be. Care to describe another example card and how this could be applied?

No that's the priest scheme. It's part of the league of Evil

Next hero card will be a Druid with hero power "summon a treant"

Why doesn't Y'Shaarj say recruit? Because recruit isn't an evergreen keyword. It only exists on K&C cards.
I'm with you though. I think it's annoying that they aren't consistent with wording.

This will go nicely in my odd secret plan spellstone hunter!

A 3 mana 3/5? Really? And with an upside?! You make it sound like discovering a secret is a downside!

Man, finally some balanced Druid cards! Now I just can't wait for the next year so UI can cycle out and it might see some play!

It's cool, rogue still has necrium tools to make it work!

I think like Bwonsamdi, he is not a beast. More for balance than anything I would guess
