Good question dude. After i played many games with Odd Paladin i took the decision to cut owl from the deck.
Odd Pala can maintain board control in the early turns. With the addition of abusive's and sometimes with the help of Might buff you can trade a big taunt without loosing all of your board so you can keep pressing the opponent. In addition to that a possible Tarim from Stonehill defender can help with a big taunt in the mid/later stage of the game.
Running one owl it doesn't mean that you will have it the time you need it. Two owls are too much. I play myself many variations of this deck with one even with two owls. Didn't like it.

No idea how to post images, as it turns out. Anyway, great deck felt very fluid and usually had options. I wasn't playing full list since I'm missing a creeper, replaced with a Holy Wrath for high roll yolo.
