I feel like the quest mage nerf will do nothing at all.

"Nerf to Millhouse" now that's a sentence I never thought I'd see.

Demon Hunter is far more bearable than playing against Res Priest.
That deck is such a garbage way to climb for how long it intentionally drags out games, far easier to pilot than DH, and relies far too much on fatigue.
Res Priest players should be banned for intentionally dragging games out to be honest.
6
Is the worst deck in the history of HS. DH was way too OP but at least it was fun to play with and against.

Well, if you get the vicious syndicate meta report, you can see that in the tier 1 you have:
combo priest - aggro deck
murloc paladin - aggro deck
highlander hunter - midrange deck
aggro warrior - aggro deck
mech hunter - midrange/aggro-ish deck
And on the tier 2 you have:
aggro rogue - aggro deck
secret hunter - midrange deck
zoo warlock - aggro deck
The only control deck you have is control warrior and highlander mage - depending on the build, but most highlander mages are midrange decks..
So aggro is not dead, this couldn't be more far from true. What do happen is that all aggro decks really struggle against the only good control deck, control warrior..
So yeah, the tools control warrior have in standard to fight aggro is pretty much on the top of the scale, since they have really power plays from turn 1 against aggro and have great board clears, armor gain, taunt, and rush minions.. but you dont have any other class or deck with powerfull anti-aggro tools..

Warrior is not broken and Boom does not need a nerf.
I think we've become accustomed to aggro ruling the ladder, to control always getting shoved out of tier 1 by hyper aggro and combo/OTK decks that nullify control's whole archetype as effective. Now that control has solid tools in the warrior class to effectively counter aggro (and OTK isn't so easy anymore), the community is crying wolf over the "broken" Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. Comparisons to the original Death Knight cards are fairly common (and misguided imo, since the Frozen Throne hero cards were outrageously broken and designed without regard to how they'd age as standard progressed over two years). People often say he has 5 awesome hero powers (he has one great one, one good one, and 3 highly situational ones regarding their value and effectiveness).
I beat warriors all the time, both with and without their playing Dr. 7 hero card. It depends far more on the ability of the player, and Boom rng only really comes into play in mirror matches or specific situations, not as a general rule. I've gotten plenty of salt adds with people weeping about how lucky I was that their hero power wasn't armor for 3 turns in a row, not how badly they wasted their resources on boards of tokens while I built up a hand to kill them with regardless of the 21 armor they thought would save them. I've lost to lucky hero power rolls, sure, that's part of the Hearthstone experience, but that mechanic isn't broken, it's just effective. it's a control card and it controls very well.
This is how strong cards work: they perform their task well within the archetype they fit for that class. Overpowered cards like Conjurer's Calling and Luna's Pocket Galaxy offer a power spike much earlier or with a much greater force than other classes can attain. Turn 5 of any match is often either 2-4 Mountain Giants or mage reducing every minion in their deck to 1-mana with no additional debuff like Jepetto enforces (making them 1/1's as well), for example.
Control inherently plays against many players who don't appreciate or utilize the archetype because it doesn't feel good and isn't meant to. It's supposed to slow you down, to stop you, to nullify your aggro. They exist to stop you from reaching your goal of turn 5 lethal (or whatever your deck's goal is for lethal). It's slow, it's frustrating, and it's part of how the game balances out. Without slower, controlling decks, we would all simply face race each other or build hyper-streamlined combo deck with heavy reliance on draw mechanics. Matches would have no interaction - a common complaint against some of the most toxic decks in Hearthstone's history - and that is all control is about. Control exists because it has to interact with your cards. Everything it does loses value if it's played outside of the removal or disruption of your cards and gameplan. It's what makes control matches such lumbering, sloth-like grinds: both sides are trying to hoard resources for the most opportune moment in the match. First one to waste a card takes the biggest step toward defeat.
Warrior is a very strong control deck and powerful archetype right now, but it's not our biggest problem, let alone much of one at all. It's a class that has the tools and can use them effectively. Mage is broken. Hunter has multiple top tier decks, one of which is entirely unchanged from Rise of Shadows. Paladin currently board floods on turn 5 with murlocs and God help you if you don't have a lot of AoE.
We need to get over our piss baby crying about Dr. Boom and take a look at actual problems in Hearthstone.
Ok, send in the condescension and vitriol, people! Or if you have something constructive to say, I'd like that, too.

I'm not going to pay 50euro for 50 packs. The value is absolutely horendous. You will get 1200dust, two garbage legendaries and no good cards to make decks from. Fuck this.

I’m gonna try to summarize my disappointment in yesterday’s blue post and I’m really curious about what the hearthpwn community thinks. I know this rather belongs to the salt thread, I just didn’t want to make a wall of text there.
So to go in order:
Now I didn’t really care about the diablo immortal fiasco, or the laying off 800 people and that terrible statement with it. I mean I was hopeful toward Blizzard that they still love making games for us and Activison’s financial decisions will not overshadow the familiar blizzard game quality, but yesterday’s blue post really had me worried. I think the aforementioned “changes” and solutions one and only purpose is to get more money from customers with putting the least amount of work into games.
What I really expected from them and I would happily thrown them more money for it is like achievement system, new game modes (like what they doing to arena but constructed) and quality of life features like in-game statistics and deck tracker just to name a few. Instead we got sweep every problem under the rug, pay for what was free for the last two years and quality of life changes wrapped like actual game breaking modifications. Now I really hope they come up with some actual game-breaking mechanics in the first expansion because a better year of the raven summary would be odd/even decks which they just recognized as a fail, magnetic, shrines and loas which did not really got off so kinda like a year without any actual content besides the new cards. I’m starting to lose faith so I’m really looking forward to see what other people think as I could totally just overreact the whole thing.
TLDR: I think Blizzard with yesterday’s blue post admitting that they want the most money with the least amount of work instead of a put the hard work in, turn the game over, implement new, significant features and just then hold out their hands for my money. What do you think?
Edit: Most people think I'm a whining F2P, but I'm really far from F2P, actually I preordered every expansion since WoToG. Also what I meant by greedy is that they focus their development hours on things that can milk people's cash and not on what would actually make the game better. Last but not least, I didn't say these changes (mainly the HOF Baku/Genn) are bad, I'm just saying as a long time Blizz game fan that I expected so much more from the HS team. But I got the message: it is more than nothing, be patient, hopeful...

Nerf this, nerf that...And what will be after it!? Another one will rise, prefer this than a shitty priest deck with tones of resurrected taunts and high rolling mages!

Only card i miss is sir Finley, do you think he is that valuable to craft him?

Watch a TRUMP video yesterday, opponent played Zul`jin and it gave him flare following turn , as the opponent had 3 secrets in play...

7 legs from 99 packs + 1 free +1 from 50 pack bundle, quite well, also crafted 3 more already, got 7.4k dust from HOF anyway....33 cards to complete the set.

Face for the win!

Golaka... totally useless, 10 games, not a single pirate on the board, better use spellbreaker.
Edit: Made two changes- spellbraker for golaka and Jeklik for fist of J. (healing sometimes really helps to come back) right now 14-3.

Not everything, control decks with a lot of AoE or healing beat it most of the time, odd mage with Jaina for instance is a sure lose for spell hunter, unless very good draw and kill before jaina come into play, quest priest is also stoping it, turn 7 shuffle the minions into the deck and to my side and roh`delar are useless.

Pretty happy with the event, bought the promotion pack got houndmaster on 20th pack plus 1540 dust more, then got a horrible draft at arena free ticket, 0-3 bam opened zerek, went with the brawl and got another legendary - thinkmaster, funny thing was that my boomsday pity timer was 0 and on classic was on 2 :)

What if i don`t care about arena? I don`t play it at all, because never lucky with the draw... Hope tournament mode can develop in future.

Yeah tons of taunts really makes you feel better :)
