Are you playing on a mobile device, I have been noticing lately when playing on mine, not everything shows up properly due to internet difficulties. Make sure to check the play by play whenever you get the chance to do so, you have missed something small. Sorry you had to deal with that though. :/
I figured this wouldn't be a bad place to share this, my opponent played Loatheb against me during a brawl, and my spells kept the effects of Loathebs battlecry turns afterwards keeping some of my spells at a permanent cost of 9 and up. Let's just say I conceded pretty quickly. XP
Has anyone tested enrage abilities on the card yet? I was think it could be an interesting card in control Warrior. Does Darkspeaker keep the default card stats or the enraged stats?
We will have to wait and see to be honest, it could have changed from a completely aggressive card to a card the really helps in Wild against aggro decks.
I mean really comes down to personal preference do you like playing the game? Do you normally spend money on it? Do you see yourself playing standard or wild? Or both? I think I may need some more details. For now I'm going to say go for it.
I don't know if he would be useful any time, the 4/4 stats for 2 cost are insane and the effect is insane for your opponent.
I DE-d him when I was with less then 2 weeks play time and I don't regret it. BUT wait for old gods first, because there is the slighest chance he can be reworked in some way and If you still don't like him you will get 1600 dust.
400 dust, 1600 dust for golden Millhouse. Not trying to be an ass, I just don't want him to get confuse.
Honestly I don't think Millhouse is going too see play in the new Standard that's coming out. He is sometimes viable in Tavern Brawls but honestly I don't think he's a bad choice to dis. However if you are still nervous about doing so save him and wait for the new expansion. But also ask yourself this do you want your opponent to have 0 cost spells and have a chance to possibly wreck you?

I want to say it is the most valued beast card. But honestly it comes down to opinion.

Example:
Turn 4: Bloodhoof Brave
Turn 5: Inner Rage on Bloodhoof Brave (or attack opponent's minion) + Darkspeaker

Or we can just come up with new strategies instead or recreating old one....kappa?

When purchasing items from Hearthstone on the iPhone they will take money from from ITunes not from Blizzard so make sure to purchase the iTunes card.
