You have to play out your cards you won't need in the matchup to clear out your hand. After I learned to do this, I haven't had any troubles with the Razorpetal Volley.
I don't think you want to play any additional minions. The way the deck is right now, the Elven Minstrel always draws your two combo pieces (or the other Minstrel). If you add Bloodmage Thalnos you could draw it and one combo piece, which sucks cause then you have to draw the other combo piece naturally or draw another Minstrel. Bloodmage Thalnos also wouldn't help you much in terms of spell damage I think, unless you already pushed some damage, which is hard cause you need to trade with the few minions you have in order to survive.
Thought it would be a meme deck, but I quite easily climbed from rank 5 zero stars to rank 4 3 stars in the past 2 hours. It's really fun to play as well!
Like others here, I'm not sure about the Sudden Betrayal. It feels pretty weak and easy for the opponent to play around. I've cut one for a Shadowstep, but I've yet to actually draw it, so I'm not sure yet how that will work out. If I had a second Necrium Vial, I'd like to try it instead.

Always dust nerfed cards. You get the full craft value in dust, so you can always craft them again if it's still good and lose no dust from it.

What about Deathstalker Rexxar for control matchups?

How do you deal with Obliterate?
