But she's good for Arcane Giant because you can play two of them off of one card for 0 mana. I actually shadow stepped them before just so I could play more free Arcane Giants, lol
Currently a vanilla 5/5 is probably worth around 4.5 mana draw 5 9 mana 5 armour 1 mana and the 5 damage I would say another 4-4.5 so just at the moment you get 18.5-19mana combined into one card that costs 10 and you want it further buffed ? Buffed to the extent that the minion would be worth more then a 6 mana card
So what are you suggesting? A lower mana cost? Because it's hard to argue that 10 mana for a 5/5 is good.
I kind of agree because 10 mana to draw 5 cards? You don't need to draw cards 10+ turns in, you need that early in the game, all you end up doing using this late game is killing yourself faster with fatigue.
You've probably never played Druid. I just used this on N'zoth and it didn't phase him, and his deathlords and sludge belchers simply ignored my 5/5 ghoul and proceeded to pummel me. I died long before I could actually use any of the cards I drew thanks to Fatigue.
10 Mana for a 5/5 is pretty weak, especially that late in the game. Simply giving it taunt and divine shield would make it more viable because you could actually buy enough time to use the cards you drew from it. As it sits right now, you basically waste an entire turn and get lethaled after playing it most of the time.
Lore-wise, the Rogue class is about physically hiding, not hidden information, which is something anyone is technically capable of. Rogue's sneakiness and propensity for ambushes is embodied by Stealth.
Mechanically, secrets are just stuff that triggers on the opponent's turn. And let's face it, a lot of the time there's nothing surprising about them.
I'm not sure I agree with that. Rogues run the spy networks, and have an entire tree named Subtlety.
Subtlety is about physically hiding, i.e., stealth.
And while it's true that Rogues are involved in a lot of espionage missions (because they are good at physically hiding), they are not the only ones who do so. Literally anyone can be a spy. That is why you never know who the spies are. Everyone has secrets.
In fact, a dishonorable Rogue might be especially bad at keeping secrets if he thought that squealing would serve his own interests.
I'm referring to the fact that the spy networks in both Orgimmar and Stormwind are also the Rogue guilds. SI: 7 is basically the CIA.
Rogues are frequently referred to as masters of deceptions and have a number of dummy targets, shadow reflections, and disguise abilities, so yes. It's really hard to argue that any class would rely on secrets tactically more so than the Rogue.
I remember her as basically being a goody-goody Police Officer / Prison Guard in the video game. Constantly talking about justice and following the law etc.
No, because by reaching rank 5 you get the dust equivalent of a legendary, a golden epic.
at bottom rank 15, 10 and 5, not to mention legend trash rank(5k+) you also get to meet tons of troll decks that you can farm.
----____---- yeaaaahhh, fuck that shit, i'm farming gold.
I personally find reward in getting to higher ranks. But with that argument, I agree with 21 beers.
The problem is that most players (and decks) hit a brick wall or road block. Like once you've hit rank 15 is there any reason to stay there and play boring games against the same 40+ minute decks with little to no progress ?
Anduin and Rexxar are the most useful and fun for me so far. Garrosh and Valeera are probably the weakest out of the five that I have tested. Druid is good, but not exciting..
I genuinely don't understand why Valeera doesn't equip a weapon while every other class does, even non-weapon classes.
She loses her hero power, and the hero power she gains isn't that useful late in the game because you can't play high mana cost cards twice and most of your cheap cards are long gone by round 10+.
A 40 minute match rewards the same as a 5 minute match.
I find by playing at Rank 20 I gain way more gold than I would otherwise because I can play fast decks, and if I draw a bad hand or run into a deck I don't feel I can beat I can auto-concede and save a bunch of time without losing anything.
Rank 20 is also more fun to play at because you play against way more variety of decks, and can also play less optimal decks for fun.
IMHO the amount of gold rewarded for winning at higher ranks, winning longer matches or win streaks should be higher because right now I don't feel the need to climb at all especially when the end of season rewards are based off of your season high.
It's like the higher rank I get the less fun the games become (same decks every game, 40+ minute matches) and I gain significantly less gold while pretty much hitting a stand-still or roadblock as far as rank advancement goes.
Lilian Voss is bad because the mechanic is bad. I mean you basically answered your own question, why make a thread out of it?
Because the top Standard Rogue deck listed on this site is based around Lilian and I tried it and kept thinking "Why would I use this over any other card??" Like the deck itself was fine, but it would have been so much better without her.
So I thought maybe other players know something I don't??
Ok let's take a look at some of these amazing rogue spells
So which one of those do you think is really good without other cards to combo with?
Yah, the answer is none of them. That is what Lilian Voss is for. A ton of rogue players will tell you that one of the worst things you can end up with playing miracle is a hand full of spells.
That deck also uses her but doesnt make any references to her in the guide. So why do you think she's the basis for the deck again?
Preparation is one of the best spells in the game, and people put Eviscerate / Coins in their decks for a reason. Not because they're bad. Rogue spells and decks are based around combo'ing with each other, once you take them out and replace them with high cost priest or mage spells you make the rest of your deck kind of useless.

My guess is that he's a Goblin because he seems short and only has 4 fingers??
I think the green part on his face is the Bonescythe helmet, and not his actual mouth.

I dont think Valeera is all that

Sort of like the opposite of Rogue?

The furthest I've made it against that deck is Turn 8, I'm usually dead on Turn 5.
Even at Rank 20, and this is consistent with multiple decks and classes.
Does this seem balanced to you?
