I hate to break it to you, but match MAKING is inherently rigging.
Randomising your opponents is not, finding them based on algorithms is.
But, what do I know? I am just a programmer...

While there's no hard evidence, everyone who has played HS for more than a few years knows matchmaking is rigged.
Playing decks where if your winrate goes too high you start facing the perfect counterdeck almost exclusively, then you switch deck and you suddenly face the perfect counter of that deck, etc.
This doesn't happen one or two times, but hundreds of times over the years, for many players. Hearthstone has always been rock-paper-scissors metas so this sort of stuff would be braindead easy to implement from a developer p.o.v.
Anyone who thinks the matchmaking in this game is not rigged, simply hasn't played enough hs to know better, sorry to say.

Top 4 can even lose you some points. This happens if the lobby's MMR is on average lower than yours, which is definitely possible as it is quite hard to get 8 players of more or less the same MMR together at all times.
Ja, that is true. I don't think rating should be the definitive calculation in an "RNG" game. Since more than half the time, setting aside cheese tactics, the game is a complete anyones-bet-to-who-wins. Due to the shared pool and some Hero's legit draining the "shared" pool it puts others at disadvantage.
If you died simultaneously with another player, then the rating of 4th and 5th place is shared between you, thus you got +0 and they got -0.
Stop looking for conspiracies. You're not stuck. You have just plateaued because that is the rating you deserve.
Okey pal. Whatever you say. Imagine having so much faith in Blizzard to believe they are infallible and the system is perfect. You are a dipshit.

Sounds like a few people dropped out of law school to size up ego's over a thread about Hearthstone....

This hot take is a tiiiiiny bit undermined by the guy who uses an avatar on a gaming forum of a "prestigious" (1k win for Warriord) class avatar award. When your position that "Cosmetics mean nothing to me, Lebowski..." and you chose that avatar route, that reason seems a bit at odds with itself.

Pretty excited about this. I'm a casual player, and while I have been playing a long time, I don't get a ton of games in.
No other decks with near as many wins, and it was fun getting to this point.

Quote from Machariush >>Quote from TheDarksider >>Yeah, but Zeddy is not President of the US, it's just a man with an opinion. I think this kind o thread only helps spreading his name out there for more people to watch him, feels like a gossip website......
whats wrong of spreading Zeddy´s word? I mean he is the only who is fighting the battle vs activision blizzard in our name the HS community, whithout Zeddy blizzard never ever addressed the initial reward track, he is not a blizzard drone not sellout dude.
Yes, he spends his time with the community discussing how bad act/blizz is, what they all do wrong and that they are shit all along. He gets applause from the community for this and then heads over to buy the new preorder.

Quote from Machariush >>So you are the king of guy, who thinks quest warlock is fine in wild and Illucia was not a toxic card, until blizzard change it.
and by the way fuck seasonal events, if I cant play "during halloween" i will miss all that extra rewards, its better to have by default, and by the way, he is not acting he is the contect creator that we all need.
Many, many other streamers and pro players (those who you call Blizzard sellouts) complained about Illucia
You see, this is a thing... Zeddy doesn't have his own opinions. He parrots what is a popular complaint ATM without any regard if it is justified or not. If we'll get a huge Hearthstone Reddit thread "BRING BACK ILLUCIA" he will completely forget about his hate and milk the crowd for views by joining the call.

To complaining wild players:
Blizzard just can't balance standard AND wild if they don't split the card collection between both. So, to wild players complaining about certain nerfs or buffs (I won't speak about the quest banned, this is something else), I just want you to remember that the competitive mode is standard, meaning the most important mode to be balanced is standard. If still complaining... you're playing in WILD.
W - I - L - D.
Sorry guys, nothing against you, but you chose your mode.

If anything approaching a control deck was even remotely plausible handbuff paladin wouldn’t even be on they radar.

What I meant. 👍🏻

Cut rope time in half instead.

I agree. We’re too far down the rabbit hole for any nerfs to make a difference so I don’t think they should bother. There are too many broken decks waiting in the background to replace anything that is nerfed. It’s probably time for everyone to accept and enjoy HS in its current state or move along.

I don’t think the point is the current meta is bad but it is an accumulation of everything HS has been shifting towards over the last couple of years, and it’s just reached a boiling point for some people and I think draw is the biggest problem. Classes used to have to play cards like Loot Hoarder and Bloodmage Thalnos to get through their deck and you still only had 3 or 4 cards in your hand a turn. Now nearly every class can consistently draw 2-3 cards a turn from turn 1 and even the class with the weakest draw just discovers an extra 20 useful cards a game. Draw and hand size should have been kept as a class strength like in warlock (see also healing which since they released their outlines for class identities a few years ago seems to have gone out of the window). Being out of cards feels bad though and I don’t think blizzard want anyone to feel bad anymore while they’re playing HS. They want everyone to have massive plays every turn and each game to end in an explosion of colours and fancy effects at the cost of considerably dumbing down the game.

Demon Hunter quest might not be quite as easy but sitting watching someone draw their whole deck over 5 turns is one of the most disheartening things I’ve seen in HS. Why the game has suddenly become about drawing your whole deck as quickly as possible I don’t know.
1
Cards that cost more than 6 are only good for dust right now.
2
Auctioneer should have been HoF’ed 2 years ago. When there is even a sniff of a reliable source of 0 mana spells you can guarantee an absurd OTK deck will be found. I’ve got no problem with ‘miracle’ to a certain extent but you shouldn’t be able to cycle 10’s of cards a turn in game where you only start with 30.

The one thing I will agree on with some of the people on here is the pathetic show of defiance by blizzards favourite streamers. If any of them had given up the game in protest or even just totally skipped the promotion for this expansion I could have respected that, yet when you’ve got people like Trump who is ‘protesting’ one day, then jumping straight in-line to do the theory-crafting streams it’s a bit of a joke and detracts from any message he was trying to get across and shows his true colours.
2
The memes are going to be off the chart for this expansion. So many wacky cards. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing I guess is down to personal taste.
