Dictionary.com. Not trying to be a snob, I'm really sorry if it came off that way, I'm just used to a different usage of the word "homunculus" and I think there may have been better words for this little demon fella.
Out of curiosity, what kind of decks do you recommend for laddering that are actually fun? I don't need a decklist, just some recommended archetypes. Hell, just whatever kind of Mage you played or something. If you could please help a brother out with this slog of a climb, that would be awesome.
I may just be misunderstanding you here, but it casts the spell from your deck, as in it removes it. Plus, I still fail to see how potentially Blastcrystal-ing or Siphon-ing anything on your own board is a positive. It CAN be good in Mage or Shaman or some top-heavy Hunter that have a lot of non-targeted spells, but Warlock has too much polarizing AoE and targeted removal for it to be left up to chance.
...How? I think you would like to control precisely when your Defiles, Hellfires, and Twisting Nethers are cast, not to mention the Trolden possibilities from this casting Blastcrystal or Siphon on itself.
Aaaaand it's weird. Hold out for seeing this in Shaman with whatever Blizzard plans to make Runespear viable with, as well as whatever weirditude gets dished out to Big Mage. Until then... ugh. Not seeing it.
Goes great with that new Shaman no-need-to-target-stuff spell we haven't freaking seen yet that makes the Runespear not garbage! Otherwise... works with stuff like Blizzard and Cabalist's Tome? Maybe?
We lost many men to get here, brothers, but here we stand. Now, on this precipice of experience, at this climax in our adventure thus far, comes the ultimate investment! We, as Silver Hand Recruits, servants of the light, report for duty!
...
Wait, what? Only +2/+2 and Taunt?! Where's the Quartermaster?!? I want to file a complaint.

Will be run in Quest/N'Zoth if only for 2 more choice summons (Obsidian Statue, Cairne, et cetera.) Good card. Wicked cool art and name.

So, I am confusion...

The "oh shit" button Ice Block should have been. Nice, skillful card.

Fair. Somehow, though, summoning a set list of demons is better than basically having unlimited access to every Spell in the Mage book.

Brace yourselves, for Prince Malchezaar Mage is upon us.
All realities, all dimensions, are open to him. In this one, you lose.
(In all seriousness, broken card. Works magic in Elemental Mage.)

I hate it. All hail Mage, overlords of conjured bullshit.

"homunculus (huh-muhng-kyuh-luh s), noun
an artificially made dwarf, supposedly produced in a flask by an alchemist."
Yeah, okay, Blizzard.
Great freakin' card though.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Ideas, that is.
