No, you're not paranoid, i do experience the same from time to time.

I do believe it's something like my account gets marked for time to make me a neat lose streak. I just quit and stop playing for a day or two, or i don't give a biscuit and play no matter how many ranks i go down because of such hard-counters. I think it's something we have to live with.

Downvotes are the only and ultimate weapon against things like "i will write something if this deck gets 9999 upvotes".

I imagine a more badass heropower that deals 1 damage to Valeera and a random enemy and equips a 0-2 weapon.

To quote Kolento, "If I have lethal, I kill him. If I don't have lethal, I cannot kill him.".

If opponent has 1 hp and I can do 457 damage, I don't. I don't play anything other than what I have to in order to kill him as quickly as possible. It's unnecessary.

     Exactly this.

Y'Shaarj is dead (truly dead). His Sha - all that remains. And his heart that corrupted Garrosh and turned him into a monstrosity.

We didn't see only N'Zoth by now but his servants under the ocean.

posted a message on Reno gone Rogue v1.0

From my expirience it is often necessary to have more than one copy of a card in the deck but every Renogame is so unique so it's too hard to tell what card exactly. That is why i personally run Gang up but almost never use it before my Reno does his duty. Sometimes it's really nice to have multiple Healbots or Belchers in stock :)

You're not the only one. This combo is very situative and doesn't help laddering if there are few other priests. One cabal (even without any shrinkmeisters) is more than enough for a dragon-themed priest.

posted a message on Dragon Confessor v2.4 (+ a very outdated Guide)

Actually i don't know a good alternative for the same mana. Twilight Drake solves three important tasks: it is a dragon (thus can interact with 4 types of the deck's cards in hand), it usually hits the board with more than 4-5 (a Yety level), and also Twilight Drake serves as a bait for midgame removals and silences that could target more important minions (Dragonkin Sorcerer, Ysera, Sylvanas for example).

From my expirience a dragon-oriented deck needs at least 9-10 dragons to be patient about activating dragon-dependant effects of non-dragon minions (furthermore, here are already 4 dragon-dependant dragons). Without a single Twilight Drake there are 9 dragons in the deck (and only 8 if no Twilight Drakes at all) so i personally think that an alternative should aim at least first two goals: to be a dragon and to be not worse than a yeti. I see only Hungry Dragon for 4 mana but i doubt its effect won't harm in secret pals, shaman, ramp druid or zoo matchups.

If 9 dragons are enough then a minion should be a bait for removal or silence. I'd suggest Crowd Favorite since the deck has at least 13 battlecries so there will be many opportunities to improve him.

If 4 mana is not a necessary quality then a minion just must be able to trade efficiently. I see candidates among Nexus-Champion Saraad, Harrison Jones (more situational though), Pit Fighter, Toshley, Cabal Shadow Priest. Or just a Thoughtsteal to increase deck size and have more fun.

It is easier to tweak the deck's focus (for traditional stealing minions for example) than replace a Twilight Drake here imo (:

posted a message on Dragon priest counters?

Dragon priests reserve around 20 cards for early- and midgame play, 5+ cards go for tech and the rest are to establish lategame and win conditions. That means dragon priests usually have weaknesses versus hard-control decks like Handlocks, CW and Freeze Mages. If you're running into a dragon-priest netdecker who simply by design ruined its lategame, used inanequate tech decisions and diluted its strengths with useless and/or slow minions - then almost any control deck can win, even midrange decks got a high chance.

posted a message on What is your opinion of Dragon Priest's strength? [poll]

I think Dragon priest is not a deck but a theme. Making a priest deck dragon-themed leads to a common playstyle in early and midgame for almost every dragon-themed priest player. Lategame however is much different between different decks because they are built on different strategies. One can predict what strategy he is facing and overall game result depends on how good the strategy was predicted and how correctly its counter was prepared.

There are combo-priests (classic inner-fire and Malygos/Velen-dependent variations), control priests (here is a shadowform-oriented example), different tempo-variations with different focuses (steal focus, trade focus, midrange pressure focus etc.) and many hybrid decks swimming somewhere in ladder deeps. What dragon theme offers is a strong alternative to Auchenai+Circle defence system for priests looking for something different. Dragon-themed priests sacrifice diversity until lategame in order to obtain safety against overwhelming aggro but they are still different priests.

My vote goes for upper tier though i can't say there is a particular dragon deck that can usurp the right to be called Dragon Priest.
