Dude, congrats on this deck man!  I have been tearing it up on ladder with this deck.  I have never had so much fun with Priest at the beginning of an expansion.  It just destroys aggro, control, or anything out there!  Thanks for posting man!  Well done.

Long time Hearthstone player here.  I love the game, but I am so tired of getting beat by face decks and beyond stupid Warlock mill decks.  I usually try to play a more midgame-control type of deck and nobody is interested in playing interesting games.  Everyone wants to play the same old brain-dead, no thought needed, janky decks.

I'll play for the quests but nothing more this season.  I would much rather play Destiny 2, LostArk, AC Valhalla or any other game.  So disappointing....  RIP Hearthstone fun.

Hah!  I just made legend again this month using this awesome deck!  I worked hard to get legend before expansion comes out so that I can goof around in legend ranks trying new stuff without having to worry about moving up the ladder.

I did make one change to the list that helped me out quite a bit.  I switched the Entrapped Sorceress [/card] for another [card] Devouring Plague to counter all of the face hunters that buff their one-health minions and it worked much better for me.  I had good win rates against all decks except for Fatigue Quest Warlock.  I beat that deck only once when I had perfect quest draws every time, otherwise, you might as well concede and move on.

I am a long time Priest control player with 8.6k wins.  I hate playing the same aggro/quest decks that everyone else is playing so I usually try to find a Priest deck that beats the meta.  This has been a real challenge this season.  I tried all sorts of Priest decks.  The climb to D5 was fairly easy, but I was having a real tough time making it from D5 to legend and this deck got me there.

I am a long time Control Priest player with close to 8k wins.  Generally speaking, I try each season to find the off-meta Priest decks to beat the most popular decks that are currently being played (which are almost always Aggro decks).  For me, this is always the most fun... developing a strategy to counter everyone else’s strategy.  I hate playing the same decks that everyone else is playing.

However, Control Priest just isn’t viable this meta.  I have ended up playing Quest Mage and had maybe 2 losses in my journey from D10-Legend.  It was super easy.

I justify playing quest Mage as a control player, because I first control the board and then burst your face down.

I would love to be able to play some control quest Priest decks, but until changes are made, it’s just an exercise in frustration.

And no, this is not the worst meta ever.  Death rattle Hunter was far worse.

Good point on the dual-class cards.  I double checked and looks like I double counted one, so I got 10 legendaries, which still seems above average.

OK, so I finished opening 140 packs.  I received 11 legendary cards, so pretty good.  A lot of them were ones I was excited to play with, so some good RNG there.  A couple of my packs had 2 legendaries in them, so the pity timer seemed to go into overdrive.  As usual, epics seem to be the hardest cards to obtain.  I did not get as many of those as I had hoped. 

All-in-all very happy with my new cards.  I can't wait to try them out next week.  I am a Priest main with nearly 7k wins.  I will be laying waste to everyone else with a new tempo priest deck.  HS players will rue the day they finally printed a viable one-drop for Priest in the form of the Frazzled Freshman!!  I can't wait to see aggro decks despair at turn 4 huge buffed minions that they can't do anything about.  ;)

My Fireside Gathering has started, but I cannot open any packs yet.  Do I have to wait until 10:00am PST or something?  Has anyone been able to open their pre-order packs yet?

Dude, I am like 10-1 with this deck, nice work!  I've beat Gala Rogue, Libram Pally, Control DH, regular DH.  Amazing!  I am absolutely loving the Reliquary of Souls.  Finish quest, then buff the Prime that comes out and watch them concede.  Priest is back boys!  Beating Diamond and Legendary players with this deck easily.

I'm mainly a Priest player since Hearthstone went live with over 6K wins (17.6k wins total) and I have only once before gotten Legend (with a Druid taunt deck).  I usually play Standard Ladder and have ended nearly every season in ranks 5-2 previously.  I don't know if I just had a lucky streak or what, but for me, climbing the ladder with a standard Priest Rez deck was super easy to rank Diamond 5, and then just today I hit Legend for the 2nd time.  Your experience may vary, but I checked the forums to see if anyone else felt the same way and sure enough, found this thread :)
