I was initially a little disappointed when I open into him (only legendary in 54 packs...), but he certainly has a lot of potential. Very fun card to play, overall.
From what I've seen here, some people were very lucky, and others (like me) were not so fortunate. I think maybe the overall drop-rate didn't change, but they now average it out across the player population, rather than for each individual account...
All I know is that someone, somewhere has two legendaries that should have been mine.
I'm glad I didn't, not that I ever would have. F2P for life.
I had saved up 4100 gold, spent all of it only to set off the pity timer for a Shifter Zerus. Not the worst card in the world, but a little too random to be awesome. I have had fun with the expansion thus far though, so I'm not overly disappointed.
I think it's interesting to note that of the 16 minions that interact with C'Thun in some way 8 are class minions, and yet there are still three classes that did not receive any: hunter, paladin, and shaman. I'm not complaining, I just think that it may steer new players away from experimenting with those classes, given that it seems like the intent behind giving everyone C'Thun is to allow new players a greater breadth of deck creation. It was just a thought that occurred to me while looking over all of the cards about to be released.
It costs 1, its a 1/1, you play it for 1, its battlecry triggers giving it +1/+1, hence it is a 2/2 for 1 mana.
I´m pretty sure it doesn´t work that way. You pay the mana to play the card, then the battlecry gets activated.
So you play for 1, then the battlecry checks for your full crystals, you have none, so it doesn´t get a buff.
That's my understanding as well. Essentially, if you take the cost and base stats into consideration, it will end up being an X/X for X mana (however much mana you have when the card is played is what its attack and health will be).

Feelsbadman. I opened 54 and got a single legendary. Maybe you just need to open one more!

I've saved up around 4k gold, but we'll see whether or not I spend it all.

This makes me think that Brann would allow two C'thuns to be added to the deck O.o

If its effect was "battlecry: deal 8 damage to all OTHER minions" I think it would definitely see play. As it is, it's just kind of meh.

I remember when this card was a neutral minion...

I'm cautiously optimistic. Hopefully the design space they freed up with these latest nerfs will be utilized sooner rather than later.
