    Here's my entry:

This is an actual ability in WoW for either mages or priests. I figured "why should warlocks be the only ones to lose cards?" so I let this come in. The teamwork factor? They give you lots of minions and you get out two spells from their hand, including the one they use to activate this. Isn't that a fair trade?

Here's a sneak peek to an All-star Legendary, cards which show the truth of the characters on some past artwork.

"What I want to know is how that saurok learned magic in the first place. Did he attend Hogwarts or an ivy league school?"

Can you guess which card I'm mentioning?

HEYA! I'm back again! Boy, will this one be intense.

The rules of this contest state you need to make a spell with a number showing three times. My three times are the mana cost (numerical), the total damage dealt (alphabetical) and how much damage is needed to reduce the cost in ordinal form. Yes, I did go with the death knight for this card. Why? I felt like this was going to be WAY too powerful if it was actually made into an official card and given to just one class and neutral spells are not a thing yet (though it would be rather sweet if they were) so I went ahead and gave it the death knight since it's now out.

PRO: It's balanced. I mean you need to do six hundred damage to make it playable if you have no mana-reduction cards. It's quite a lot.

CON: Your minions are in the line of fire too? I didn't mean that! Whatever, it could add balance.

PRO/CON (depending how you see it): If official Molten Giant will no longer hold the record for highest mana cost. Minion-only, yes. Out of everything, sorry, you only get second.

Hello, I'm back! I've pieced together a monster of a card (more like a demon) for this challenge. Here he is:

Harlem Foyer, the first ever demon just for rouges!

Pretty sweet, huh? Harlem can be one of your best companions if you work hard enough. He'll take away an arcane missile projectile or a Headcrack heading your way and stop Millhouse Manastorm from giving you a shiner, meaning your opponent will have to tried harder to take you down. Oh, and every time he saves you he sends himself off to the other side of the board, starting at the leftmost, then rightmost, then leftmost, etc, so he might be able to get a buff from your Dire Wolf Alpha if left there. Only downfall? Easy Sacrificial Pact bait. Be cautious if you go against a Warlock.

Here's a sneak peek to one of my ALL-STAR LEGENDS, special legendaries with art from other cards.

"Wait, so that socialite is related to the Sargent? No way!"

Hi! This is my first Card Creation competition, but my debut was in the Aslyum's Gauntlet. I created the Duelist hero which apparently didn't meet the second criteria, but some people liked it. Due to this I was cut off phase 1, but I'm ready to go for the gold again! It's been a while since I've made a entry, so if you don't know me I am totally fine with it. Here's my entry:

So why does this guy fit? The goal of this challenge was to make a card that counters another type of card, such as Murloc, Secret, Spell, Windfury, etc. My card puts a counter on Taunt minions, ultimately making the rest of the minions equal targets. Plus, with his Charge he can instantly tackle anyone he (a.k.a you) wants! However the cost is that every Taunt is affected, so unless you want your Crazed Worshipper to take another hit then all your minions will be fair game to the other side. With great cards come great responsibility.

This was not my first draft however I'm pretty proud of it. Just like authors, I went though some rough drafts before reaching a finished product. My first idea was Kyrin the Bloodlust, a 5/7 10-cost legendary with Charge and the ability to cancel the next two minion plays, ultimately destroying them before they could settle in. He was probably overpowered. I then made a 4/6 non-Charge version of him. Then came a 8-cost 4/9 (I think) with Counterspell wrapped into her. At last, this guy came in, however he initially had better stats.

It's a great honor to be part of this community. Good luck to all of you!

Flavor Text: His group is often mixed up with the Light of Darnassus, the town's electricity only company. Why? It was probably a hater who begun it.

posted a message on ASYLUM'S GAUNTLET (Class Creation Competition #3) - Phase I Submission

This is my first comp (and post) here so I'm pretty excited. Let's knock this out of the park!

My class is the Duelist. I've got a little backstory to it. When I was first exposed to this sweet game I created a play of the Jorgurant Arena, where the folk of Azeroth can watch (or compete in) Hearthstone duels. I'm on the urge of completion it, I have a busy schedule. Later on down the road I got the idea for Hearthstone Camp Card, when 36 complete strangers to the game and each other compete to become the next pro (you guessed it) duelist, this is where my hero comes from. The duelist is kind of a mix-and-match variable class of the other 9, so one game it can be a bit of rouge and a bit of mage one round and full on hunter the following, that tries to go more for control and/or combo wins. The class holds a close position to my heart too.

    Here's my hero: Kristian Orecminderse!

Here's a bit of backstory: Kristian is a sword juggler who got onto the first season of Card Camp, however he was eliminated 22nd after a custom hero power challenge. He was also the sole returnee in Season 2, but that time he landed in 11th, which is rather far in the game. He may have never won, but he was a grand contender.

    Now for the hero power:

"So what's the use of an Energy Ball to this class?" you think. I did reveal that this is a mix-and-match class, right? The Energy Ball plays along with that. It holds the power to turn into 8 different balls, such as the one listed beside it.

What the Energy Ball can transform into.

    Here are my example cards:

Support Glove: The duelist of the Jorgurant often wear specially-padded gloves on the arm where their PlayPilot, a machine similar to Yu-gi-oh's duel disks. They don't look like this glove, but hey, a glove is a glove! It may seem overpowered, but I took a look at Flame Lance and though it was fair enough.

Fan Favorite: I meant to call it "Fan Favorites" so it wouldn't be mistaken with the minion Fan Favorite. A key factor to this? The +3 attack goes to a random (ally) minion while all the others still receive a buff. There's some logic behind the +3 buff too, sometimes you can't tell who the fan favorite is until the match is done.

Street Merchant: He's my only minion here, but he's a good supporter to the class. He gives you a 2-for-1 discount on the Energy Balls. That means double the possible chaos, and we know that sometimes, like here, that chaos is good.

Sorry if it seems sloppy, it is my first time here. Please keep me in, I'll be sure to impress you, because I still have some tricks and aces up my sleeves!

Edit : Made a Spoiler for the Energy Ball, and a few examples of what the Energy Ball can transform into.
