So for this year, I'll buy the pre-order pack bundle, plus the single-player content. $20 for 16 packs isn't the best deal possible, but neither is it a rip-off. $20 for 16 packs PLUS great content, cardbacks, etc. is a pretty great deal in my book.

Only whatever you can put in a deck, so if you have 10x golden and 10 normal doomguards you only receive dust from 2x golden.
Do correct me if I'm wrong.

davidwizard posted a message on Year of the Dragon - Goodbye Genn & Baku, New Solo Content, Arena Draft Pools, Smarter Deck BuilderPosted in: NewsA lot of free-to-play players hated the old style because it locked cards behind "expensive" (for them) content. This is the best of both worlds, and a pretty elegant solution to two different seemingly irreconcilable factions.

I'm happy they've largely listened to the community and the game is looking to be great next year!.

Maybe the reason it's being released so late is that it wasn't finished yet.

Are you talking about the announcement trailer? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUdGUBDR_9k
I'm pretty sure that was intentionally made like that to spoof Masterpiece Theater. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQk3Xf2Ur78

It's Tim.

But what will the new text be for Spiteful Smith?
I think the first two may be too confusing, even though they most closely match the other enrage card text (as presented with new worgen text). I guess it could go any way to be less confusing for the last three. I think option 3 is probably the most clear and matches up with Rotface pretty well.

Dropping in to say that I just took this from Rank 5 to Legend.
My experience:
vs. Quest Rogue - Pretty much an auto-win. Control the board and win.
vs. MiracleRogue - Much harder. Control board, but try to win by mid-game or you will lose late.
vs. Quest Warrior - Play for value. Hard to win if they have Drakes on turn 8 and you aren't in Kill Command range.
vs. Pirate Warrior - Such a hard game. You need a late game taunt and a good early curve. Sometimes they have the nuts :(
vs. Quest Mage - Auto-win.
vs. Freeze Mage - Need to get them in the midgame before they have too much freeze since most of your damage is from board.
vs. Secret Control Mage - Very hard. Many times they just do 22 damage from hand behind 2 Ice Blocks. Same control game-plan and hope for the best.
vs. Aggro Druid - Favored, control the board to win. Always kill their minions. Taunting Roc is really good.
vs. Midrange Paladin - You need a good hand. I think I was 50/50 with them. Sometimes I just got destroyed.
vs. Murloc Paladin - Need good early game and need to finish in midgame. They have to much heal and value.
vs. Dragon Priest - Toughest Priest to play. Primordial Drake is so good vs this deck.
vs. Silence Priest - Hunter's Mark and Poisonous are the best. This deck worked way better than the more deathrattle heavy version.
vs. Midrange Jade/Ele Shaman - If they have 3 plus aoe in early game they will win. Otherwise you are ahead.
vs. Mirror Hunter - 1-drops into Hyena can win games. Try to have that going first, or an answer going 2nd.
vs. Zoolock - Pretty even, Need to out value them. Good unleash turn.

I went from the bottom of rank 10 to rank 5 with this. 21-6 record.
