based on my experience a sheep or hex will be summoned by witching hour 100% of the time. every time.

FeedtheEmu posted a message on The Scourge of Taunt DruidPosted in: General Discussionyup that it what I was gonna say. I play a Token Shudderwock Deck and it FARMS Hadronox.
Hex is the biggest reason, but they also have trouble dealing with large minions and I have ALL the large minions, and I run Black Knight, and MTC is pretty good against them. It is a free win every time.

zzAMBIENzz posted a message on The Scourge of Taunt DruidPosted in: General DiscussionHad decent success with Big Spell Mage. I usually will poly 1 big taunt, and then try to save the other poly to try to catch Hadronox, or a cube. Getting the 1 sheep in mix is the key, as it will make their Witching Hour a 50/50 instead of a guaranteed Hadronox.
Overall, I wouldn't call it a "counter" deck, because at best, it is a toss up, but it also does really well against Cubes and Spiteful, and destroys Paladin nearly every time. -

Nicholasjh posted a message on Murloc Paladin vs. "Dude" PaladinPosted in: PaladinQuote from SweetMonkeyCreek >>I love Dude Paladin (at rank 8), but can someone please tell me what you do when you run into a Control Warlock?! 2 Defiles and what feel like 55 Voidlords are impossible to get through...
I'm not sure what to tell you, it is one of the hardest matchups, though I do beat it sometimes...I mulligan for cheap cards, or the knife juggler dudes/4 cost combo, play cards out as quickly as possible... draw with the 3 cost.. try to draw out their board clears... eventually dudes stick and you combo them. Basically this one is all about pressure and holding the combo pieces for the right time (meaning stego, the 5 cost or Tarim... there's always more ways to make dudes... you pretty much have to rely on that) .TL/DR Mulligan hard for the 3 cost draw, Hold the combo pieces (Tarim, unidentified maul, stego, 5 cost 3/3 dudes card) for the right time... pressure out everything else (except perhaps strategically holding knife juggler in the correct position. )Edit: and it's not that your pressure is likely to kill the warlock, but it will keep him on the defensive... not able to pressure you, and get him to use his board clears... eventually dude combos stick and you have a chance to kill him. -

Mgalekgolo posted a message on Aggro ProblemsPosted in: Paladinmurloc paladin is far better now since the aggro deck nerfs, which is why murloc pally wasn't round an awful lot before, but now patches/creeper etc were nerfed, murloc pally is everywhere again. lol

Daddi2672 posted a message on Aggro ProblemsPosted in: PaladinI agree, aggro paladin is not good anymore imo, didn't touch it since the patch hit.
Murloccadin is the way to go: more resilient against board clears and has a much bigger snowball potential (kill by turn 4/5 if unopposed).

Excellent points. I hadn’t planned on being able to hit the Hadronox with a Hex or a Polymorph due to Naturalize, but I forgot earlier frogs and sheep mess up the Witching Hour...
Thanks, Folks!

NEED NERF NOW! Blizzard fix pls!!!
Just kidding. I’ve been running into the new Hadronox Taunt Druid a lot (rank 4) and have been having a really tough time beating it. Just wondering what strategies people have been using against it. I run Cubelock, Spiteful Druid, and a couple of different aggro decks, but danged if I run out of gas after the 6th Hadronox refill.
Honestly I was thinking a Shudderwock deck might be best. A OTK endgame that doesn’t care about taunts in the way...
Anyone have anything else that’s been effective?
