I love those. The only nerfs I'd like is that damned Gigantototem and pirate rogue's weapon.

I hate that in Hearthstone people think that combo and solitaire deck are the same. Anyfin paladin was a combo deck while not being a solitaire deck. Freeze mage - same.

But stuff like tony druid turns the game into freaking solitaire and I don't care what winrate they have. They should be nuked ASAP

I think that an interesting option would be paying life, 2 life per card drawn would make many kinds of degeneracy way harder to pull off. But paying, not losing to prevent questlock degeneracy

As someone who enjoys Auctioneer in Twist replaying older versions of Miracle Rogue. I'll be sad but Tony Druid needs to be destroyed as well as potential future decks of the same type.

Those standard guys call this broken...

2 mana 3 damage that can be used both as removal and reach can find a place in a deck without any additional text. Not premium by 2023 standards but usable.

After a few more games in Wild against Discard Lock, I think the issue with Chamber of Viscidus is specifically that it allows you to choose the card to discard (which others have mentioned goes against the spirit of discard mechanics). Other cards had conditions like "discard your highest/lowest cost card" which would make you have to choose if you wanted to roll the dice that it grabs the right 1 cost card, or if you really wanted to draw THAT many cards. Heck, even Scourge Supplies is ok in that you are drawing blindly into things and there's a chance you'd get three cards you legit wanted to hold onto. But picking from a Discover! fan of cards you already have just breaks it.

I'd be more for verbiage like this:

"Randomly Discard either your highest or lowest cost card. Draw two cards."

No, 2 mana draw 6 in three installments is bonkers by itself.

I don't mind an insane powerlevel of eternal formata in card games... But for insane threats generated by those decks there should be insane or at least good answers.

I should be able to take any deck, replace a few cards with techs against the current number one deck and increase my winrate against that particular deck substantially for the price of hurting my main strategy. But Hearthstone doesn't work like that. All tech cards are made for standard AND even there they are usually so weak that they aren't played by anyone even there.

Like, I won't play Demolition Renovator in any deck ever. It does way too little against locations, especially cheap ones. And it is absurd that I don't even consider playing the best (and only) anti-location card in a format with a broken location.

What stopped Blizzaes from printing a strong anti-location tech in Caverns of Time? It couldn't hurt standard. It couldn't hurt old Twist decks

This actually makes me sad, we got a really fun nostalgic format with huge room for experiences with old decks + new cards... but people farm XP with strong decks because they have to get few% higher winrate* and farm few more packs over the season to farm XP in the future. Oh, and there is also a pack for reaching legend!

    * Funnily enough, they don't even achieve that because matchmaking will keep them at 50% no matter what they do unless they are top legend or something.

mill druid is same as big priest, fucking stupid deck.A

It is way different and much worse. There are many ways to beat Big Priest and your decisions matter

There are exactly two ways to beat Tony druid - kill it by turn 3 or luck out with hand disruption.

Gadzetan Auctioner has to be nerfed. Something like - whenever you cast a spell draw a card and lose 2 life will absolutely work against this and similar decks.

Chamber of Visicdus is mindblowing for me. I can see missevaluating jade rogue buffs or even the locust  but 2 mana draw 2 three times with an upside? What was the logic?

I would make the "start in your hand" only a constructed rule, it would be a reasonable price for running quests. Card text doesn't even have a "starts in your hand" rule.
