I will definitely check that app out! I was so happy after my 5 wins that I tried a few more drafts but I was drunk or just dumb and I got to 3 wins at most. I looked up class tiers and the best I could find was every class but warrior is okay atm. Thank you so much for giving me the benefit of the doubt as I am fairly sure I don't deserve it.:P

I ended up losing my next game and ended my run 5-3. Thank you so much for your response, I will definitely keep trying the format as it is a nice break from the grind of the ladder. So is it better to look at stats or effects when building your curve with minions? I realized right after posting that I had no card draw and only a couple cards that had even a card/ minion generation effect to them which probably isn't ideal. I think my biggest issues when building decks are figuring out how important having x number of 3 cost cards or whatever it may be is and also just choosing between minions. As I said, are stats best, is a good charge card ideal, what should I look for first and then consider afterwards?

Hey so I thoroughly enjoy this mode of the game but I have never really done well with it. Today I spent the 63 Canadian to get WW pre order because I figure 90 cents a pack is pretty great. I had 800 gold and 3400 dust already saved for the expansion so I decided now that I have the preorder I can play around with my gold a bit before the next xpac launches. I started my run 0-2 and have since gone 5-0 with my last game ending on turn 6 against another paladin after my gibberer wreaked havoc on turns 1-5 with various buffs. My question is, is this a decent deck or am I getting lucky, and what is the worst aspect of this deck? Dig into me as I don't judge my self worth on a fun game so however badly this draft is let me have it. I want to get better at this mode because I really do enjoy it. Thanks for any and all feedback! Even the salt.:)

    Feral Gibberer

    Grimestreet Informant
    River Crocolisk
    Wild Pyromancer
    Igneous Elemental
    Rallying Blade

    Nerubian Prophet x 2
    Spikeridged Steed
    Bog Creeper
    Violet Wurm

    Edit*

*Sorry I don't know how to import this deck any better than this, this is directly from my HSReplay.

**Double edit: My first 2 losses were to a mage and hunter. I got the mage to 9 hp but couldn't close it out and the hunter I could have won had I drawn like I did for the mage.:P My next 5 wins were: Priest, Rogue, Druid (got me to 1 hp!) Warlock, Paladin. My deck is still active at 5-2 but I am nervous to try again as like I previously stated this is my best run ever.

There is a Secret Anyfin Pal currently available on HSReplay that has a pretty decent win rate (got me to rank 9 so far this season).

That's why when I got Mayor Noggenfogger while trying to get Patches/ Raza for free dust I kept him, he may be a key wild legendary one day!

I feel like the biggest reason it is so big atm is it is SO strong against summoner decks and they have really become prevalent after the nerfs. You have a board of tokens against druid and are awaiting the inevitable swipe then suddenly they play spiteful turn 6 and you can drop an equality or Tarim and blow past any tempo they gained. You are thinking maybe your turn 1 or 2 play will be answered with a potion of madness or when your board spreads you will face spirit lash but then once again they drop summoner turn 6. Turn 6 is SO strong for this deck, especially with any board presence. So far I have figured, Tarim, level up, knife juggler + CTA, Knife + Steward + into the jungle, etc are all great 6 mana combos, especially since that is sort of the turn when an opponent will reveal their deck so to speak.

I finally went for it and hit my lower floor (15) with recruits pal in Standard on NA. I have always used recruits in wild on and off to reach my highest ranks (7 so far) as I just find it is the best deck in terms of staying power. By that I mean if you are careful with your cards and always hold 1 or 2 back you can almost always make a new board (and maybe even buff it with another card) so you are never really out of the game. I am extremely happy to see it ranked t1 or 2 by multiple sites for standard and I have to say turning your 1/1 board into 3/3s or better when your opponent drops their summoner and an 8 or 10 drop (depending on druid or priest) is very satisfying. Apart from me giddily rambling I guess I wanted Hearthpwn's thoughts, is it a fun new fresh deck for standard or is it just a new cancer? I know my opinion I am interested to hear yours! Thanks for reading.

**Edited 'freah deck to "fresh deck".'

To all the people claiming giants are a turn 5 game over, have you ever played or faced a giants deck on multiple occasions? I have played warlock giants enough that I can honestly say I had a game that went to fatigue and the only reason I won was Mal'Ganis wasn't a Gul'Dan res and he got brought onto the field from a void caller and let me win when I was fatigued. I honestly believe any deck from aggro pal (or murloc pal now) to raza (or cube lock) requires some skill to know when to hold a card/ when to play it. Can't we all enjoy the opponents' plays? Or are we all destined to hate everybody and wait until the meta (wild or standard) is 1 deck that auto wins and we are all happy?

Thanks for all the comments so far! Except Zanzi69 who seems to be one of the us vs them people who is upset for everybody playing any deck they don't want to face. What a dumb way to experience a game and/ or life.

I have reached rank 12 so far this month wild with warlock giants and hunter giants. Both are super fun decks and when you are at fatigue and your opponent summons your malganis through your guldan voidcaller and you win it is amazing. My main query is, will this deck ever get me to legend and also, is wild (with naga witch and thaurissian) inherently more fun? Should I worry that my wild rank IS so much ahead of me standard rank?

    TL:DR;

Is there anything to be gained from maining on Wild, do you get worse rewards?

I got 2 Kobolds legendaries [zola and Temporus (admittedly Temporus still looks pretty unplayable)], plus Putricide (he still seems interesting to me) and 2105 dust so to me that seems worth it for 27.99 CAD.

I got Zola, Professor Putricide, Temporus (none golden) and 2105 dust. Not too bad especially since I really wanted Zola.

posted a message on Viable Quest Druid?

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1009811-wild-naga-jungle-giants is the deck I use. I just replaced both bright eyed scouts** with 1 kun and 1 more branching because that card is so flexible and since early Un'goro big Druid I have loathed bright eyed scout as she always hits my sub 5 cost cards somehow lol. Plus I feel Kun as either 10 cost free 10 mana to use on your 0 cost minions or 0 cost free 10 for whatever is too good to not use. Currently having some success in 15-12 rank range in NA.

**Edit** replaced the scouts with Kun and 1 Poison seeds to help deal with all the aggro, seems to be working pretty well so far. Going from 0/5 of your quest to 3/5 or 4/5 on turn 5 with the witch or just getting there quickly with free 5/x's with oaken summons and corridor creepers is amazing too. Having a reno weasel priest dead on turn 8 after a reno and Amara with giants and Alex feels good no matter what rank you are.
