Hearthpwn

I definitely encounter more of them but the standard highlander mage deck beats them pretty easily. I even ended up with an unlucky puzzle box one game and the priest started spamming well played and then 5 minutes later he still lost. It's made highlander mage playable for me for right now whereas before I'd run into too many embiggen druids or dragon hunters. They are definitely a long match so I can understand if you prefer fast games why their prevalence is annoying but I just thought I'd give the flip side.

Finally a deck that can beat Heroic Galakrond! I tried with a couple other Mecha'thun variants that I've used for the rest of the battles but they didn't have the removal to withstand constant 8/8s. Thank you so much for posting!

I can assure you that you wouldn't be wasting that much time on Heroic for GA. So far within 3 hours of launch having all bosses done is fairly easy if you just use a wild Mecha'lock list. The only boss I used something different for so far was the dragonflights where I used a wild Reno pally. This is coming from a guy who took over 100 wins to finish Dungeon Run as rogue and hunter so I usually struggle with heroic lol. Obviously if you don't have the wild cards or want to craft them then you'd be correct in sitting it out although I've heard standard quest res priest can do them also.

I got 3 from 108 packs... Shu'ma Dragonqueen and Murozond. 3!! I don't think preordering is for me anymore after this.

As one previous poster mentioned I would love to be able to sell from hand. Really sucks leaving yourself with 6 minions constantly in the later stages or selling off a minion to make room just to have 2 copies of that minion show up when you reroll..

I have basically completed every shaman game quest or overload quest by playing the current iteration of even shaman. The one that uses totem carvers and no Hagatha or Lich King or card costing more than 5 really. This nerf kills my early game my mid game, my ability to use and abuse things from below and my ability to rely on anything but crackle as burst, short story this makes any even deck unusable. It really seems like Genn and Baku destroyed not only standard for a year but also wild (how they have it currently set up) forever. How many more of these evergreen nerfs are we going to see before we either get more evergreen cards or a nerf free well balanced expansion? Rant over...

I just won 7 games in a row going from rank 15-0 to rank 13-2 and I have had a few opponents simply concede when I have lethal and board control on t6-9. After getting golden pal last ssn with odd I feel bored playing it and have been going for gold with rogue, warrior, shaman and warlock which are all right around 300 wins and I have made no progress so far (recruit war, odd rogue, even sham and even lock (recently odd cube for fun)) so doing so well in one night with even sham just made me want to ask if anybody else had found the same thing happening. What makes it so good?

Well in any case both promise some good things, it's up to you which you'll enjoy more and spend more time playing. And if you're short on cash just go for cheapest.

amuse that sounds amazing, how would you go about farming gold? I have been out of the game this whole xpac and the last time I seriously focused on farming I was a geared out Tauren warrior running SM cath and armory before BC came out lol. It did work really well though!

@EquinoxHS I honestly have no clue, sometimes I love HS but other times (like now) I can't seem to get any quests done and I only have spell hunter as a fun deck (after getting my golden pal Odd feels ugly to play and then when I play it for quests I never win now anyway [taunt druid/ control priest/ other counters] so standard esp has gotten quite stale). WoW I have played for a bit last couple weeks and I have always loved alting and with a new xpac comes tons of replay so maybe it is better. If Hearthstone has more metas like this I just don't find ladder fun. I have the cards to make every meta deck but I can never win more than 2 with each in a row, maybe I am switching too much but it feels like whenver I queue I am being countered. I can go from playing spell hunt and dominating the board to playing same deck and getting only taunt druids for 4 matches...xD

@Toastedsanga, that is awesome and I wish I could do the same but the way my pays fall (biweekly) and the way my car payments and other bills fall I def couldn't do both.:P

I know there is a 505/50 chance based on previous non hearthstone threads i have seen here that I will get s*@t on for even posing this question, but I am limited to either a mech jaraxxus pre purchase bundle or the BFA pre purchase in WoW (100 CAD for mecha or 63 for non deluxe BFA [I have enough cool mounts already and pets suck so digital deluxe for WoW is out of question] I was wondering if anybody was in the same predicament and what they had settled on/ why?

**Edit** Forgot to mention I never played any Legion but did play every other Xpac fully with most of them involving LFR/ real raids at some point. Thanks for any and all (even dickish) responses!

Yea... what they said. I could easily have 3000+ saved by now but I keep convincing myself I have figured out the arena. Through just doing dailies I have 600 saved but I know I have spent thousands on arena since I freakishly managed a 5-3 run. I have 5600 dust saved (I play wild still so I could easily have 25k+) and I pre ordered because 20 free packs is too much to pass up... Even if everybody hates the xpac so far.

Yep you will have 70 packs to open by purchasing the preorder.

Wow, everything is making more sense to me now. I am embarrassed to admit that I hadn't even taken my class identity into consideration when building my decks which in hindsight seems like pretty much a no brainer.:P I really like the idea of watching some streams and I'll be sure to set some time aside this week to do just that. Thank you both so much for your participation in this thread and your help with my struggles.:)

So one thing that always trips me up is I see I don't have enough 5+ cards and think my end game is too bad so I will never close out games. Is it more important to drop a strong late game threat (say Lich King) or a good 5-6 drop like White Eyes or Tarim?
