I'm not sure I would call that consistent. Quests are more similar to secrets then any other cards. If your hand or board is full, certain secrets will not trigger.
It might work or it might not. You need to look at existing effects. For example, a minion will lose stealth if it deals damage with an effect. In other words damaging card effects is the minion dealing the damage. I'd make a bet that the poison will trigger, unless blizzard makes sure it don't.
It's true that copy effects generates exact copies of minions, however, this is overruled by anything being put into your hand resets to its default state, after which hand buffs are applied. There are no exeptions to this currently.
That is exacly the same as c'thun. It's not a matter of how strong or weak the deck is. I doubt it's going to become as much of an issue as c'thun tho, since everyone doesn't get the deck for free.
If only this was "Battlecry: Discover a minion from your deck and put it into play." Prehaps even with a "trigger battlecry" effect like KT in the brawl.
Didn't you just say you like the card? Ask yourself if you're gonna have more fun dropping dr.7 or anub'arak. I mean, dropping a golden anub on people has to be fun. And that 1/10 times it actually gets anything done, you're gonna have much more fun then you'd ever have with the guy you see on 7 mana every single game.

I think this will actually mean silence will be more regularily seen. The Jeweled Scarab can now discover it.

At least the card cost and stats are actually correct for the revealed cards in the trailer. Would make sense for the others to be correct as well.

That would have been far more interesting.
