So I played a lot more games with the deck and i realzied that it needs a way stroger early game. To this extent I#m trying the extended Rush package now. I actually crafted a second Town Crier and included two Rabid Worgens and of course Crowley. Having that all important turn one play is just so good a lot of times and also thins out your deck, thus making your overall draws stronger.

Gonna playtest this package some more but until now i like it alot

I switched the Ooze, right from the start for Tinkmaster because when i got to legend with Odd Warrior I already had him in that list and didnt want to miss him. Right now I'm just playing your list with two owls and Tinkmaster. It'S already really good but i think there are still improvements to be made. If consistent draw wasn't such a big issue i would have already cut the town crier. Dropping him t1 feels super great but drawing him in the late game is just horrible. If there were more good rush minions in the odd mana pool though it'd be a whole new story.
In my previous lists i was also running Iron Hide for more Armor and to make reckless flurry and shield slam more reliable but again, it's kinda a weak draw later on when you're a little starved for cards so i think it's ok to play without it.

Faceless manipulator is extremely good vs cubelock because you just copy their voidlords and it takes them forever to get though them. Time that gets them closer to fatigue and you closer to your win. Vs druid its great to copy lich king, hadronox etc. vs paladin its great to copy spikeridged steed or tirion etc. all in all a very good card to include i think. If i had to cut something for it, right now that'd be the two rush minions. i dont feel their impact too much. on the other hand though you get even more reactive than before, which also isn't that good. Tricky.

Oh btw: Skulking Geist is a 6 Mana card, so rather unusable for this deck. You might wanna erase that from the otherwise great guide. ;)

So i played around 10 Games so far on legend rank. The Games generally take very long because there are lot of Control players apparently. So far i found out the following:
I don't like Countess Ashmore in here at all. 7 Mana is a very awkward amount and you get a 6-6 that doesnt do anything and draw you 0-2 minions depending o the situation. I removed her after 5 Games when i realized that i didn't wanna drop her in most sitautions.
Tinkmaster overspark is imho a must have. he helps out a lot vs cubelock and vs taunt druid he is invaluable. Also great vs taunt druid is pulling a cornered sentry from stonehill defender, if possible.
For ashmore included another owl. I guess if more and more taunt druid players arise, including those faceless manipulators will be unavoidable.

    Hey there, great Guide! +1
I myself used an odd Control Warrior to get from Rank 3 to legend. I was using the Quest in there but only because i didnt have a t1 play. you dont really need the quest, it just provides you with another win condition.

I can vouch for Tinkmaster Overspark. Been using him to great effect, mainly vs. Warlock but he can also help you in other match ups, when you for example need to transform spikeridged steed or just to transform your own town crier luckily into a 5-5 in the late game. I would probably switch it for the Ooze.
I'm gonna give your version a whirl now. Good work!

    Thx for the answer.

On another note, thelittle pirate package feels out of place and pretty weak to me here. For now i substituted happy ghoul, which is a substitue two drop and also synergizes well with mistress of mixtures, as well as Argent Squire and Zealous Initiate. The Initiate has an immedaite tempo effect in the early game and can also be resummoned by N'Zoth whereas the squire is generally a good card which becomes really good with a keleseth buff.
Lemme know what you think about this and if you think the pirates are overall stronger. Ah forgot to mention the changes makes the deck unsusceptible to golakka crawler which basically every control deck runs atm.

Hi, I've been playing a couple of games with this list and it's super fun. Outtempoing a Keleseth Rogue feels pretty fun with a highlander list.

I have a question though: Which minions is Cabal Shadow priest targeting? This card sat in my hand more often than not, without something better to steal than a 2/2 minion.

    Looking forward to your answer.

You have two Dirty Rats. Pulling Raza from their hand is game winning. Also they often have full hands if you do not play anything, then Coldlight Oracles makes them burn important cards.

    Great Guide!
I think I will replace the Auchenai + Circle Combo for Pint-size and Horror. I can also recommend The Black Knight alot (or even a BGH), since basically everyone is playing the Lich King or some other sticky Taunt Minion like Obsidian Statue or Primordial Drake. Also good versus Steed and Tirion.
Another reasonable inclusion is Eater of Secrets since it makes the Mage MU winnable which is, as you already mentioned, just an auto-loss otherwise, which feels preety bad ;)

Not exactly sure what to cut for these 1-2 cards yet though.
    What do you think?

Inner Fire is great in this Deck because there are many defensively statted minions that we can cast it upon. Power word shield and Kabal talon priest also give us health buffs. In some match ups an early big minion can give you the win. Versus jade druid for example, an early  8-8 cleric is something they cannot clear easily. It can also help to put a minion like primordial drake to 8 attack so you can kill it with shadow word death. It is also unexpected in this Deck so opponents do play around it.

It's actually not. You seldom need a book wyrm in the meta today because the deck runs two Pains and can discover more with Shadow Visions. From time to time you can discover a Book Wyrm when it makes sense vs. Taunt Warrior f.e. I used to run even two Wyrms 3 Seasons ago, when there were a lot of taunt warriors on the ladder but that trend has subsided. Haven't missed it yet.

Nice Deck. I'm plyaing a slighty different version of Dragon Priest atm and am meeting a lot of Jade Druids on EU. What do you recommend to tech into the deck to improve that match up?
The Match up is already favored for me but i would like to make it even better since more than half of games are against jade druid. I already run one copy of Inner Fire and it helps a lot! An early big minion that they cannot clear is really dangerous (like a turn 4 8-8 cleric).

    Thx in advance.

    Hi there,
thank you for adding your stats although they are of course not very meaningful on this very small samplesize.
Did you encounter Quest Rogue, Pirate Warrior, Hunters and the like by now? How did you do?
Also: Quest Mage is next to unwinnable, but you included Dirty Rat already, which is the only way to having a slight chance against them, so that's good.

How did the following cards do?

    - Barnes
    - Ysera
    - Kabal Talonpriest

I'm asking because i switched all of these cards out after playtesting in my own deck, because i did not have likeable results with these cards.
Talonpriest seldom has a target for his buff, Barnes seldom hits something useful and Ysera is only played vs Taunt Warrior which already is the best Match Up by far.

    Glad to read your replies
