Pirate warrior is a legitimate hearthstone deck. It is yet to be nerfed, it still exists which probably means Blizzard condones and accepts it as of now. Anyone who disagrees either lost too many times in the worst possible way or actually cares about the game balance. Most are the former sadly, even if they proclaim otherwise, hence the derogatory namecalling and swearing. It gives quick wins given the right draw and its OP factor is what makes people continue to play it, especially in wild with ship's cannon. I shall be very honest, most people, myself included, wont prioritize the opponent's enjoyment over quick wins. So yes ,it will continue run rampant until its power level falls. Of couse it isn't as fun as control decks though. The abundance of options and combos is why I prefer reno decks. The satisfaction of winning a long control match is one of the best experiences in hs. That being said, I don't mind resorting to pirates for its practicality when needed. It isnt nerfed, it is accepted, it is quick, efficent and the only down sides are slight staleness and my opponent's bitterness. Both of them I can live with.
I'd rather have double gold. I dont know why but I suck at arena, averaging around 3-5 wins. Wait, scratch that, I do know why, bcos I have only played like 7~ish arena runs. Anyone has tips on how to get better?
I don't get how this deck is supposed to win? I mean against aggro you can control them to death and heal. But how do you win against othet decks? What is the win condition?
So like... I'm really bad at being mad, it's just not really my thing, but I finally got someone to add me right after a match the other day, and I complimented him on his deck. And he was just kinda confused and deleted me. I just want to make friends :(
Can we have a sad thread?
Maybe he was unsure if you were being sarcastic, but I know the feeling. Mind if you tell me your battle tag and server? I want to add you.
I used to do that when I first started, mostly to say thanks for the match, regardless of it being a win or a loss. Then a friend told me I was going to come off as smug and infuriate people. So now I only say thanks as a response to well played.
I had to play 7 final bosses last season until I got legend. Dropped from rank 1 to 3 and 2 more than 3 times. Took me a week or two to grind to legend and a few days to rank 5. Using secret medivh burn mage cuz I'm too cheap and don't have alex
Do you mind sharing your list? I am free to play and would like to see a slightly cheaper burn mage capable of reaching legend.
I dislike the lack of grace among players. I keep seeing people who bm the entire game or add you after a loss or even a win to swear, then remove you from their list to run away. I mean, this isn't even me being salty, but can't we just have a pleasant game with no ill will regardless of who wins or loses? When I see this kind of behavior, it doesn't even make me mad, just kinda sad. It's no wonder many people dont accept my friend requests. They probably think I'm gonna gloat or whine.

The only quick games I have won with priests are with otk decks. The divine spirit+inner fire kind. If you are lucky, the game can end by turn 6~ish.

Try visiting vicious syndicate or metastats websites. They provide meta snapshots and multiple versions of decks to be played.

If I remember correctly, some tier 1s would be renolock, pirate warrior, token paly and burn mage.

.... I actually read this first as "The Love Help Thread!" and thought someone was on hearthpwn asking for love advice...
