well if getting till summer championship is not an achievement then maybe you show us how to do it. basically by being there she is already part of the worlds elite. While I disagree with some of her choices, maybe it is because the chinese community still needs to adept to international tournements. such as omegazero chosing and playing with hunter and not winning a single game? or bai ze bringing naga corsair in a deck that already has trouble with golakka crawler.

ShadowsOfSense posted a message on Meet BaiZe - The HCT's First Championship Woman Impresses in LAPosted in: NewsIt is good to note when steps towards the goal of equality are being made. Games were marketed as a boys thing for so long, and when we begin to see women participating in major events its cool to note that, but that's all it should be: a note.
Just this article would be fine, but everything around her participation was about the fact that she's a woman. Watching her matches and introduction, you learn nothing about her beyond that she's a girl. Every time you need a bit of fluff commentary to fill airtime - hey look, a girl is playing this game! It was really disconcerting.
So yeah. I think the article would be fine, if that was it. Focusing the entirety of commentary about her on the fact that she's a girl? Not so much.

Scorpyon posted a message on Are iPhone/iPad users getting scammed by Blizzard?!Posted in: General DiscussionI GOT another tips for you guys!
If playing on europe you can pay 50 euros instead of 50 usd for 40 packs.
simply go to the store find the packs you want to buy. Change the "eu.battle.ne<insert remaining URL> to "us.battle.net<insert remaining url>. Then press buy, select your region. And wolla! You saved about 10% :))
you can Even do this on your phone/iphone.
Ummm Euros are worth more than dollars, man...1.19 dollars to every Euro. So paying in Euros costs you more.... ;-)
If you pay in dollars, you are saving about 20% compared to Euros. -

Seagull0 posted a message on Yet another priest complaint.Posted in: General DiscussionI DON'T think this thread is stupid. People who BM like that deliberately use priest because they know their opponent will be more likely to concede to that deck, AND even if they don't concede, because they're playing a broken deck, there's still a high chance they'll win.
+1 to OP. Wish priest was nerfed.
Don't mind the haters OP, they're usually really unintelligent.

Wrathian posted a message on Is this healthy for the future of the game ?Posted in: General DiscussionPirate warrior is not even close to being top tier deck right now...the fact you mention this shows your lack of knowledge for the current meta.
Jade druid is strong but still beatable with a good rush.
The real problem i see is highlander priest. Pretty sure this deck has highest winrate right now from r5 and up. It is the most well-rounded and has positive win rate against all decks except Quest mage.

WhatAChamp posted a message on How do you dare calling priest opPosted in: General DiscussionWhen you make a thread like this, you just become like all of the pirate warrior or jade druid defenders. Nobody cares about your personal experience. As a whole, the deck is really strong and arguably OP. Just because you lost a few games, doesn't mean it's not good anymore...

Justice171 posted a message on Fed up with ShamanstonePosted in: General DiscussionEvolve Shaman is the only Shaman deck that's really competitive right now, but it is not OP. Once you clear their board, or are able to play Skulking Geist (if it's a tech of yours) before their evolves, you will simply win.
No matter what deck you're playing, if you're against Shaman it's all about board control.

On the contrary, I think the new "destroy 1 mana spells from the game" is the card that was lacking for my Control pally to climb the ladder consistently.

You should try harder. The picture has zero resemblance with the art of the expansion.
Fake.

Nobody is acknowledging 'cause it doesn't matter. Ragnaros, Lightlord is a class card and it doen't cause damage on the same turn it's played.

(I swear I didn't see sashasepto entry before creating the card, but I will understand in case I'm disqualified).

I'm a completely free-to-play player so my perspective may be a little different from yours.
I'm quite a difficult person in real life. I get angry easily, to summarize it. But, in HS, in despite of losing more than winning, I almost rarely experience negative feelings. Maybe it's due to my aproach to the game, as I'm always expecting to lose, 'cause I know it's an rng oriented game most of the time, or that people play with bland and unfunny face/zoo decks, or even decks filled with legendary cards (in fact, those are the reasons I almost completely ignore Ranked, and play just the Tavern Brawls and Arena).
So, I always try to be the kindest player, greeting the oponent and complimenting it after a good play and by the end game, even if I'm about to lose. In fact, what really pisses me off is when the oponent act as a douchbag and starts GG'ing me all the time. At these occasions (and sometimes after facing an aggro or stupidly legendary filled deck), instead of conceding, I close the game abruptely (a useless protest, but I like to thing the other guy will be playing alone 'till the "Your oponent left" thing).
As a sidenote, I think our world is already too competitive. It seems that people don't do things just for fun, nowadays. Everybody feels compelled to try to be the best in what they do. We're suffering the Wolverine complex. This makes us anxious for not achieving this ideal, 'cause there will always be someone better. So, if I could give you some advice is to try to have fun with the game, not just try to win the matches.
