Yikes, no no no, do not use Naturalize. There's a world of difference between giving your opponent a random minion and letting them draw two cards from their deck. There's no easy substitution for Mulch's removal power, but you'd be better off with a random minion than Naturalize
I'm having a great time playing this deck. Solid win rate too, 6-2, but I'm still climbing up from the bottom of the ladder, rank 19, so take that for what it's worth. I'm mostly seeing slow Mage, Warrior, and Pally decks
I don't know, I love egg druid, but this feels like the wrong meta for it. I went 1-4 with it, against Warrior, Mage with plentiful board clear, and Super-heal Paladins, Soul of the forest helps, but only so much. My one win against a Mage really felt more like luck than anything else.
You're probably right about Savage Combatant. As for Fandral: Maybe the choose ones aren't that good, but there are 10 of them in the current decklist. That's a lot of potential value. One out of every 3 cards combos with him. 1 mana 2 dmg + 2 1/1, 2 mana 4 dmg + 1 card draw, 2 mana 2/3 stealth/charge, 3 mana 5/5? Those are some supreme plays and there's more than I've listed out.
You could be right about Stranglethorn Tiger. I just don't understand why, if it's so good, it's not on other decklists. It feels to me like a mediocre card being propped up by the Menagarie Warden combo
Am I the only one who feels like it's a mistake to play Stranglethorn tiger in beast druid, though? I get the fantastic Menagerie Warden synergy, but that combo won't come up too often, and no one would put Stranglethorn in without it. Plus, and extra Savage Combatant might even be better IMHO (admittedly, I like Savage Combatant more than it probably deserves so maybe I'm overvaluing it, but at least it has a place in the deck with or without the combo) .
I generally buy Adventures but I don't think I've ever bought a pack. My strategy, aside from playing a lot, has been to choose 3 classes that I plan to play and dust every card from another class that I get. Eagerly dust every golden. And I never forget that 4 legendaries I don't use can become 1 legendary I really want.
There's still a ton of legendaries I want, but I've got a lot of them.
There are things in the world worth getting personal about. Then there's Hearthstone.
Really, guys, can we all just recognize that in Blizzard's eyes, buffing underpowered cards is not a thing?
Thalnos isn't underpowered. He's strongly tuned. He's basically 2 cards in one. The people calling him underpowered must not know anything about ladder or competitive play because he's been a staple in mage and rogue decks for years.
I agree. But I also think that whether or not he IS underpowered, he will not get a buff. Because nothing gets buffed. So the discussion about how good Thalnos is is really beside the point. (And to anyone who is still missing my point, yes I know that a card that is still seeing regular play in competitive decks is not the worst card in HS)
Come on, now. If a card is seeing common usage in decks it probably doesn't need to be buffed.
You know what needs a buff? My poor Millhouse Manastorm, Gruul, Nat Pagle, Shifter Zerus, and Lorewalker Cho. Once you've got some ideas for buffing these unplayable cards*, let Blizzard know, so they can ignore it
*ok, I recognize that Nat Pagle, Lorewalker Cho, and Shifter Zerus could all potentially be tools for some crazy deck archetypes that don't really function right now - that doesn't lessen the pain of seeing the beautiful yellow halo of a legend and then opening Nat Pagle
Am I playing this wrong, or does Zoo eat this deck for breakfast and still ask for eggs? I've done well against other match ups, but Warlock Zoo just runs right over me, and there's a lot of Warlock Zoo right now

I took our a Mire Keeper for him. I don't know if it's better, but it's fun.

I want this deck to work so bad.
And this deck works... so bad.
0-3, but I'll keep trying. I dream of the return of Mill Druid.

I'm going +1 Fandral Staghorn, +1 Savage Combatant, -2 Stranglethorn Tiger

He's a solid 1-drop and Curator will put a murloc in your hand for free, so it's nice to have one in the deck

I tried this idea, it did not work well for me. Too much RNG to Unstable Portal, By the time I had a great card, my opponent had a great board.

Arena? 0% netdeck there. There are tier lists, but a decent Arena player will almost never go straight off of that.
