    Blah blah blah aggro is not a problem, game balance, etc etc.

     

    Come of it, over 50% of the ladder right now is either aggro shaman or pirate warrior. It turns the game into a coin toss - either you have your answers by turn 5 or you are dead. Hearthstone is supposed to be about back and forth games right?... not tossing a damn coin.

    It shows how ridiculous the current meta is frankly - the hero with the damage hero power has been squeezed out because it's too slow. We all used to rage about face hunter. So blizzard in their divine wisdom decided to counter that deck by making crazier and crazier 1 to 3 mana drops but generally not making them available to hunter.

    There is no point playing casual - I just play low rank wild ladder games as any win there counts towards a golden portrait. So far I've only got Warlock and Paladin but every class is over 300 wins now. It doesn't feel like a grind as that is where I go to chill when hacked off with standard ladder to play some decks that are actually fun and not ending the game turn 5. Thankfully there are plenty of others doing the same thing. Rank 20 - 16 wild is where the game still shows it's potential - it's a shame Blizzard keeps pushing faster and faster curve decks on us.

     It's not a tempo loss when the weapon is used to go face and is grown in durability at the same time.

    There are no decisions to be made when a game ends on turn 4, so there is no defending this PoS card or any other broken 1 drop, including the likes of tunnel trogg.

    Next expansion we're getting a turn one pirate, spawn 3 1/1s. Then a turn 2 pirate that is "If your board has 3 or more pirates 4/4 charge". It's going to be great, they also have similar ideas for shamans.

    I don't play either, but if I had to choose I would play pirate warrior. It's a theme thing, Shamans should not play more like Mage than Mage, where as it's perfectly reasonable as a warrior/berzerker to "hit face very hard with big axe".

    Like with all OP decks it's down to a combination of powerful cards. However, if you can't see the problem with small-time buccaneer then you must be being willfully blind. Pirate cards are supposed to be more balanced than that, thanks to the tribe tag. It's another tunnel trogg, the card should never have been printed. This game really doesn't need anymore broken 1 drops.

    I would embrace the inherent advantage Digital CCGs have and break out the nerf bat/buff bat. If they wanted to take away the 'full dust refund' thing to do this I would be 100% fine with that. The could keep the meta fresh so easily, bring back in old cards, let cool effects that have never seen light of day as they're attached to a terrible card see some play...

    I still refuse to craft patches...the way it's now leaked into pretty much any weapon class along with the equally stupid small-time buccaneer makes me sad. Pirate mid-range shaman, pirate dragon warrior, pirate buffadin... /sigh

    Please Blizzard, lay off the 1 drops.

    posted a message on Don't Panic. We are likely getting Dust Refunds for Classic cards rotated to Wild.

    What they need to do is stop printing cards that are just variations on the mana wyrm. No more ridiculous 1 drops, so we can move on to actually not needing Reno just to have a chance of survival, its pretty damned simple. You can throw a few nerfs round while you are at it. Cards should not be seriously ramping up in power or potential until 4 mana.

    If I can make it to rank 10 with an 'all girl' hunter tempo deck, then I'm sorry but, yes, it is very much to do with your 'skillz'. Players never think they are playing badly, because if they could spot the mistakes, they wouldn't be making them repeatedly....right?

    On topic, I don't think this should be a reason to get salty.
    How is this different? It's another loss. Move on.
     I won't post the whole deck list but it's really not that hard to make as your card options are pretty limited!Elven archer works well for ping and hunter's mark combo. Brave archer, Nightblades and sylvanas help close games, below that its just a zoo deck with boobs + the secrets (as cloaked huntress/secret keeper is legit). Potential for steam roll with young priestess, pint sized summoner and daring reporter. Scarlet crusader, shattered sun cleric, gnomish inventors for draw. Even one pit fighter.
    No its not a 'good' deck, and is still kind of proof how OP hunter hero power still is.
