    Thank you. That actually helped.

I bought the starter's pack and LoE which was kinda fun. Everyone said that was the pack to get so I did. I don't buy packs but can earn a decent amount of them per week so yea it is slow I guess.

It just sucks that it'll take so long to have a competitive set of decks...

If you don't have time or commitment, then spend money. I don't know what answer you want. This is how such games work, money is a way to avoid grinding, if you don't want to spend money - then grind. There is no golden formula to not spend time on grinding and not spend real money, while still having a collection. You don't want to waste time, you don't want to waste money - don't ask silly questions then. It's either time or money, you have to spend SOMETHING to build up your collection. You wan't o have stuff and not give anything in exchange. This is not how this world works.

I'm happy to grind.. but at a sensible level.. even 10 games per day... fine. But that won't be enough to get a decent gold amount to buy so many cards.

I'm genuinely asking since I am a little new here. I just wanna know how to get a decent collection not like overnight but gradually build up.

Where is gold best spent? People say adventures... Is that true? Or do you save up for the next expansion.

I just wanted to know what other players do so I can see what works for me. That's all.

So you want to say you are actually jerking off on the characters? Seems legit.

Mate let's be honest... some of the art is pretty damn good.. not to mention the endless collection of hentai. Why else are the designed like that?

Hell just imagine if this was all real....

I'd be a rogue just fapping in the shadows.

How do you progress in hearthstone?

The game is designed such that it truly is pay to win or grind at arena for days to collect cards and sufficient dust required to create decks that are worthy of getting you to a decent spot on ranked.

Every month the season changes, meaning small game-play changes so the decks in the meta presumably change too.. so you've got the get decks for that new meta too... meaning more gold and dust...

As a relatively new player... my collection is far from complete and the horde of expansions don't help either.

Genuine question.. What is the best way to get more gold or more dust and keep up with the every changing meta?

I've been told that you have to grind away in ranked to get a decent rank to get yourself some dust which is great... but what do you do if you don't have great cards to even get you up to that sweet spot of level 5?

Grinding away in arena is pointless as most new players like me have no idea how the arena works and getting a decent draw and learning how to use it requires a lot of experience.. then on top of that.. to re-earn your investment of 150g you gotta win atleast 6-7 games.

People have also suggested to keep playing standard and keep gold for adventures and expansions only... so if you "save up" and then go on a spending spree on the new expansion you will have enough cards from that expansion to create a decent deck in the meta. One guy even claimed he recently opened 150 MSOG packs.... 150! That would mean 15, 000g,  and in order to get that kinda gold... it would require me to win 30 games per day to get 100 gold.. and lets say I get lucky and get a 100 gold quest every single say.. that would still mean I would have to play for a minimum for 75 days or 2 and a half months.. STRAIGHT.

I really don't have that kinda time or commitment.

So I ask you again... How do you progress?

posted a message on Arena rewarding system is a joke.

Yea its become pretty tough to earn back your gold. Plus getting a decent draw and making it work is very tough.

But... think about it this way.... even if u win 0 games.... you only lose 50 gold, because you are guaranteed a card pack. Usually you will get a little dust too. If you win a couple great! That how I think about this especially when I have a terrible run...

But yea personally I've been avoiding arena runs.. I'm not so great at them plus card packs means instant reward.

Hopefully they make some good changes to the arena... otherwise it's only the insanely good, or extremely lucky who are benefiting.
